Though out of topic ....

Heard that both Karat and yachury once cleared Civils (IAS) but didnt joined to provide full time in politics.

Is it correct?

Dear Rajendra ji,

I doubt the very authenticity of the source. My grandfather Shri Dharmveer Verma (Whom you happn to know as well) is a member of the CPI(M) for more than 35 years now, and of its subsidiary Kisan sabha. My Dadiji is a member of CPI (M) and Mahila jan sabha. I myself am a registered member of the organization for last 6 years now. None of us have got any salary, not even a single penny from the party for any month.

I remember the 1997 Loksabha elections when A.B. Bardhan ji and Sitaram Yetchuri ji visited our home, they had no one with them, i.e. no jamghat of people, as would have been with any congress or BJP or any other party member for that matter. They stayed there like we do, and had no offerings as gesture.

I guess this might be considered as a first hand review of what is being published and what is the real matter.

The PIL, yes has been filed to know the status quo of the General Secretary of the party and his veto over other members of the Polit Bureau and the general commitee, the two bodies cntribute towards the running of the day to day activities of the party and no external funds are raised. The General body hasauthority to make subsidiary jan sabhas, which make members in the whole country. Re 1/- is the cost incurred by each member every month and hence the party funds, which are managed as per the bye laws/ charter of the party. And if the memebers of the Polit Bureau get some perks/emoluments/TAorDA, that is well mentioned in the charter which governs the party.

Major Jaipal of Kurmali, was a member of both the bodies and as long as I have been hearing his stories and have been visiting his home, I have never known that he recieved anything from the party as a cash payout!

Cheers!!

Shobhit,
You know that if Yechury is made incharge of India, he will not blink an eye before usurping your land in gaam which has been with your family for generations. He will not pay you a penny for it. He will let you farm on it but you cannot sell it because it not yours, it belongs to the whole country. Thats Communism 101 - No Property Rights.

Why do these people file a PIL after the Parliament voting Issue? Was he sleeping before or waiting for some political gesture to carry out the work?
