N do u hv any idea- is reservation te sabme batti faydaa ye chamaar-chhude thaa ge- kyuuki eeb seats badhaawege arr inki reserved category me bi increase ho jayega!:rolleyes:
at present-they hv 177 seats at the IIMs (calcutta, ahmedabad n banglore combined), n it wl b raised to 270- A GOOD 53% INCREASE IN THEIR CATEGORY!!:eek:
bt this ubiquitous reservation prob. duznt seems 2 b sorted out,,, corroding the INDIAN masses further.

You here does not mean just you, Pragati. Its means everyone of us. I am getting a deluge of SMSes and E-mails with the same text as a lot of people are mindlessly forwarding it. It creates panic and worsens the already tense situation. Hope you (and here I do mean you:) ) have got my point.

Is their any legal expert here on Jatland? I am seriously thinking of making the most of this reservation issue.

In UP Jats are OBCs. But that does not mean they will get a quota in IIMs/IITs coz they are backward in the state's list and not in the Center's list.

Now I want to file a petition that if the UP govt considers me a backward why doesn't the Center do the same. How come my socio-economic condition dramatically improves in the Center's perspective?

Any legal eagle on jatland?

Dear Daksh....plz read my post again..."could not we do something does not mean that we have to forward these types of mails"....anyways, whatever came in your mind is ok for me..:) ....

Actually, if you are from U.P. and getting reservation from that state, then it's never mean that you should get it for Delhi, because Central Goverment & U.P. Goverment, both are different and it is not neccesary that the decesion taken by U.P. Goverment should be allowed for Central..
You are getting reservation in U.P. due to the socio-economic conditions of Jat's there as decided by the U.P. Goverment, but it is not neccesary that jat from Delhi have the same conditions...

You have missed my point again. My fault as I am not able convey what I want to. Although I would love to, I am not addressing issues of the Delhi jats.

Let me give you an example. Banias in UP and I'm sure in Haryana and Delhi as well are forwards. But banias in Bihar are OBCs -- both in the state and centre's list.

Gosain brahmins coming from UP are OBCs -- both in state and in Centre. Whereas Gosain brahmins hailing from Bihar are forwards.

So my take is that if UP Jats are backwards in the state list, how can the Centre consider them forwards. They should get quota in the centre's list as well or no quota at all even in the state.

And my argument is there should be uniformity in perspectives and my contention is either UP govt is wrong in its assessment of UP jats as backwards or the centre is wrong in considering this sub-community as forwards.

Regervation is must !!!

I think we should have job reservations in all the fields. I completely support the PM and all the politicians for promoting this. Let's start the reservation with our cricket team. We should have 10 percent reservation for Muslims. 30 percent for OBC, SC/ST like that. Cricket rules should be modified accordingly. The boundary circle should be reduced for an SC/ST player. The four hit by an OBC player should be considered as a six and a six hit by an OBC player should be counted as 8 runs. An OBC player scoring 60 runs should be declared as a century. We should influence ICC and make rules so that the pace bowlers like Shoaib Akhtar should not bowl fast balls to our OBC player. Bowlers should bowl maximum speed of 80 kilometer per hour to an OBC player. Any delivery above this speed should be made illegal.
Also we should have reservation in Olympics. In the 100 meters race, an OBC player should be given a gold medal if he runs 80 meters.
There can be reservation in Government jobs also. Let's recruit SC/ST and OBC pilots for aircrafts which are carrying the ministers and politicians (that can really help the country...)
Ensure that only SC/ST and OBC doctors do the operations for the ministers and other politicians. (Another way of saving the country...)
Let's be creative and think of ways and means to guide INDIA forward...
Lets show the world that INDIA is a GREAT country. Let's be proud of being an INDIAN...

Times of India main ek article padyaa tha maine Monday ka ...usme Deepender Hooda ji OBC's ke reservation ko support kar rahe the Rohtak main....kisi neee padyaa akkk nahi ????????
