What are the Harmful Effects if Government
does FREEHOLD on all agriculture products.

Shouldn't Govt liberate poor farmer's destiny
by releasing control over the produce's price.

E.g. Vegetables are free-of-control , Sowers
have started farming of potatoes shunning
traditonal items like Corn / Wheat / any staple crop

In no economic practices one can found such restriction
Let it be residential houses market, all industries product

Imbalance : One is restricted (Farm sector)
Others are lured to boom(Residential hous)

Can one imagine consequences of such an imbalance ?

balyaan sab aapne kai thread ma FREEHOLD ka zikar kar liya hai......lets discuss it.....
kis-kis factor ko include kiya jaega price decide karane me......
agri product kharida ga kon; directly consumer ya koi middleman....

bhai ye to kuch direct sawaal hai jo ek aam admi ke dimaag ma ava hai?

or aisa tab hoga jab pade likhe log kheti karan laag jange.......

ek chhota example hai; ganne ke baare ma hi hai.....aapka pta bhi hoga, bas thodi roshni dalna chahunga...

har co-operative sugar mill ka M.D hoya kara, ar kuch DIRECTORS hoya karan......MD to govt. banava hai,par DIRECTOR kisan banaya kara, har saal election hova hai DIRECTOR banan k.....
bhai jo bhi DIRECTOR bna hai wo election ma to ghana paisa kharach kara hai......par DIRECTOR banan ke baad kadi sugar-mill tak na jaata......usna nu bi na bera hota ki uski power kya hai......wo kya-kya kar saka hai.....
saare decision sirf MD leva hai......jo most of the cases ma kisan na hota....
govt. na to provision bna rakhya hai, kisan te power bhi de rakhi hai, par kisan na kuch bera hi koni,.......to ib batao koi kya kar sakta hai......

Solid sa reason do bhai sab log.
Poll bhi zaroor karo.

Markets decide rates very nicely ,competitive though.

Whosoever be owner of product can say his asking price ,kise doosre te poochne ki ke zarurat ?

Kis ne beche ? Jiski ghoj main peesa usne...any one consumer or middleman...kise ne ke matlab.

Dharti to kam e dhore hain..baki middleman ka kaam
kar le..jo property dealing ka karein hain...ek he baar
main Dharti bikwaan te to achha hain...produce beche.

Govt nu e thodi na..bijli ke bill maaf karein hain
They know they are eating Kisan economic freedom.

--->

I also did some research...

One article by Russian writer said:

Demand of agriculture produce is decreasing:cool:
But Produce is increased many folds due to
scientific methods or want of fast money....
....year by year.

That may lead to Lowering down of Market Price

But I don't felt that Indian Population would let
left anything in Surplus ever!
(Ise ise petu hain mann mann kha ja ge.........)

ARRR har saal Jantar Mantar pain aaonge Govt dhore???

FREEHOLD k consequences k bare ma bhi sochya kadi.....
main ganna rs.100/quintal ke hisab te bechunga, tu kahega main 50 rupee ma hi de dunga, koi tisara kuch or sasta kar dega.......

aakhri ma bera hai k hovaga.......koi na kharida..... kisi pa te bhi....kyunki sabna pta hai k bechana to majburi hai.......aaj ni to kal bachega.....na to kharab ho ja ga......

par ib terte bhi kya samjhana.......tane to SOLID SA CHAHIYE.....REASON...

Cho main kyun aave hain..cool reh

Je kisana ka issa bhunda kaam ho sakta .....to duniya
Kade ka kara deti....100 rs quintal aala.

Thoda deep soch...aaj cycle pe dhar ke ganda beechaniya 10 rupee ka de hain..arr meel aale 1 rs ka.

Koye nuksaan nahin to....GOVT pe pressure dalo

Bhai Dheeraj,

There are many benefits of Freehold if planned & implemented properly. At the same time if there is bad management of this will lead to a worst situation than now.

Few points I would like to draw your attention on and then I will discuss the solution of such things: -

1. Realistic Price : - Price should be realistic to market situation. how we will decide that? Farmers are not aware how to take the optimum profitability out of their produces. As someone said earlier on this post that that may lead to difference in price based on various regions and persons deciding prices. Its a big question. It will further lead to competition among farmers and ultimately they may have to sell there produce even at a lower rate than now. It can be a Crisis and farmer may (most probably) think of handing over the decision of price to govt. (that's where we are now). And the worst part may be the govt may use this situation and take over the control again and will decide the fortune of farmers and simultaneously farmers will not have courage to raise thr voices in near future. Amusing that govt will leave them being played in the hands of business owners(like Sugar mills). Can we imagine this situation?

Lets discuss on this scenario first and then I will come up with another one........
To be continued................

Freehold does not only states that farmers have to fix the price of their own on agri products. There are many things to consider when a product goes from producer to consumer like packaging, transport, collection, storage, retail sale and finding consumers. Other main thing is the pricing mechanism.

Before applying freehold, our farmers need to understand the demand supply laws. They need proper market with better infrastructure to sell their goods. Infrastructure means good storage space, good transportaion facilities. Many factors can distort the price of a product. Just an example, a farmer from far away place from maket (suffer high transportaion cost) will be willing to sell his product at high price while a farmer from nearby place can sell it at low cost with more profit.

Another thing is that middleman or businessman can buy agri products from neighbouring countries where the product is more abundant and can sell at low price than farmers. This will force farmers to bring their price down and hence will loose their desired profit.

Farmers need to understand when, where, and what amount of produce to sell. They need to know the marketing stretagies to sell products. Considering the illitracy rate among farmers, Freehold can cause many complications and dispute between farmers itself.

Thks
Very good write-ups by Akshay , Mr Rathee , Chahal saab & pooja ,ravinderjeet , sunny for polling.

As indicated by you:

Price Disparity ...region ..crop ..
Farmer's Unpreparedness
Private players emergence asap Govt shuns procurement

etc etc

I'll look upon them & answer back ,after some days.

:rock...............................:rock

Trade-Fair for selling agricultural products as an initial solution was adopted for starting Market Trend.

Price do vary..as lowest & highest ..region wise too.

Farmers can have community Storage(Cold) Places.

Private parties can never work effluently across Entire India..due to vastness & cultural crops...so not a major threat.

Competition is not good here!!!

1. Free Hold rate basmati rice ka hai. Aisee biran matee kar dete hai sahukar ki bujho mat. Kai bar toh aise ki taise ho ja hai. Reason : Sub Standard rice koi nahi lena chahta and sub standard kisan nahi muasam and out of control factor bana dete hai.Cant store. And such n high cost ki kisan need money urgently to pay bills.

2. Bade kisan kuch fayda utha sakte hai lekin unki quantity bhi kam hai.

3. Aur agar uske bad Import se ban uthane ki mang aam admi karne laga toh jama sahi rel ban saktee hai.

4. Haan Unity se kaam ban sakta hai jise Cartel kah sakte hai. That will make more worst situation. Good cartel bhi ban sakta hai aur wohi toh Govt hotee hai.
Hamaree sanjhi dukaan. Jab woh galat kar rahee hai(acc. to some) toh sahi kan karega.

Govt is our unity. Do our duty very honestly sab muaj main. Process and system is not bad, we are implementing it very badly.

So Improove system and not just be leader of change.

IMPORT can never be cheap ,
esp foreign currency is used.

Five river nation like Pakistan is importing SUGAR!
CHINA' import this year was highest in quant value.

Situation like BASMATI RICE
( Golden rice for farmers )
is due to alternative like other
variety presence @ Low Price Tag

Things will change iff
Everything is turned freehold.

Not just 1 / 2 articles.

Due to less land per head ,
conservation of produce cannot be a big issue.

One shouldn't fear SPOILAGE as agri products DEMAND
can never cease , one has to feed his stomach.

Koye keh tha budda ki roti bhi ruk ja gi jey naaj moohmanga ho gya toh!

I think that control over the prices of agri product by the goverment should not be removed , becos if the control over prices will not be there,

Fir baniya bechare kisano ka khun chus jayege , on the time of production of crop wo unki kimat itne kam lagayege ki bechare kisan ki lagat bhi nahi nikal payege , bechare kisan ko unko bechna hi padega kyuki unko paiso ki jarurat hoge , aur jisne uthar paise lekar kheti kari hogi wo to barbad hi ho jayege kyuki agar wo fasal ko rok kar rhakhe ge to wo intreast mai mar jayege, waise bhi baniyo ke lobby intne strong hai wo netao ko chanda dete aur apne acoording govt policies banwate hai, reserve price ko bhadhane nahi dete, so kisan ka to shoshan hota aya hai aur hota rhahega:boxing

I agree with some members on this issue. Notably Mr Chahal, Sukarmpal, Anil Rathee. Before we make agriculture free market commodity trading we must have safeguards in place. Remember it was these baniyas who robbed our ancestors blind while making huge profits. Even today, when Sugarcane is taken to factory the corruption is so rampant the average farmer is suffering. Even though he has some solace that he will get minimum price gurantee for his crop.

We are a corrupt nation that is currently built on the premise--individual prosperity is accomplished by stealing from others.
I have no hope of any relief to any farmer in this nation. India will soon become a food importer just like it was in 70's and become whipping boy of powerful nations--once again.

Deregulate oil pricing, says IIM-A

An Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad, study on the oil sector has suggested radical reforms, including complete
deregulation, where private and public sector firms are free to price fuel as they deem fit.

JAT is faster than an IIM A.

Fauji canteen facility demanded for Farmers!

If GOVT cannot turn free' the price of agriculture produce , then facility alike
'Fauji Canteen' should be demanded for!

Whereby FARMERs can buy products at subsidised rates similar to armed forces personnels,
as they are forced by GOVT by blocking the price rise of agriculture products...

whereas soap , oil , toothpaste alike items are needed by all , available @ market price to farmers.
must be available @ govt price from 'Fauji Canteen sort of system'.

When we go to villages we see that soaps are not used as they are expensive for a Farmer.
