There was a thread started by Mr. Anmol Rattan to request Jatlanders to sign up a petition to encourage Mr. Hooda to work towards some sort of education city in Haryana.

I tried to put a counter argument to such a request for "expansion of government," and not to my surprise I encountered stern opposition from a few pople. Forget about my opinions, these guys did not want any counter-opinion at all.

This is a very unhealthy sign. When there is no tolerance for counter opinion, it is an indication of a society headed towards autocracy. A one track minded society is a representation of communist ideologies.

Anyways, without any hard feelings I stopped posting on that thread after some senior members protested.

Not to my surprise, Mr. Saagar Hooda tried to express his opposition and he was met with a similar treatment.

When Mr. Saagar said that Mr. Hooda is coming to the US for "fresh air" ofcourse he did not mean it literally. He meant that Mr. Hooda is coming to the US to take a break from his work.

And then Col. Tevathia thinks that anyone who expresses opposition to such petitions is fit enough to post on the "Mallika threads" only.

Let me tell you something. We think that Mallika is "sexy." Take this.

But this does not mean that we are not good enough to stand up to your ideological levels.

Big deal! you guys served in the military or some high government offices. So did my family. And I find it disgusting.

India started off with other countries like Germany, Japan and Italy after World War 2. And here we are still a developing country. We had a better infrastructure than those countries when we started off. Germany was one big smouldering battlefield, while Japan still had the "mushroom cloud" floating over it.

But we did not perform as well as those countries because we adopted a socialist system. And who is to blame for it. It is the older generation who is to be blamed for it.

Even today I see the sickening attitude of "kissing and licking the government's feet," among the older generation. You guys lived the lives of parasites. None of you was good enough to perform in the private sector. To cover up your weaknesses you took up government jobs where you got paid for getting in a uniform or sitting under a fan for your entire flippin' lives.

You always show-off this "fake sense" of importance. As if India would have doomed without your contributions. It couldnt have gotten any worse.

Thanks to your reckless lifestyles, India is the worlds second most populated country, with a big government that makes Nuclear bombs while people starve to death on the sidewalk.

Dont compare us to flippin' Pakistan. They are even worse, thanks to even more disastrous policies adopted by that country.

Nearly everyone acknowledge the failure of government in India. But, I do not understand why does everyone still want to keep walking down the path that leads to nothing but disaster.

There are some people out there who are trying to show us an alternative way, but the flippin' Older Generation keeps us from switching paths. There are communists among the younger generation too. But, they get all the motivation from the Older Generation communists.

Those who want to change things, are told to shut up. This unjustified aggression of opinions and free thinking shall not be tollerated.

Not even one person has come out and countered successfully what I have to say. So instead everyone just asks me and others who think like me to shut up.

I apologize for being rude. But, beleive me reality bites. What I have to say goes out to every damn government official including my mother and my brother.

Save this for a better day. And try to organize your ideas.
We are trying to give some feedback for good work. Unfortunately our mechanisms, in the great Indian nation for healthy feedback are outdated or obsolete. I have learned some positive things from the American culture of public advocacy. We have no problems with you finding Mallika being sexy or female x being sexy but we are not trying to make love here.
Show some respect for ideas, intentions etc. I will not be there personally and dont think i am acting like a sycophant.
Go out and get some fresh air.
Anmol.

yeah........

Great work Anmol. Keep it up.

Both young as well as old generation have great hope from people with a postive and construtive attitude like you.

Avoid any distraction what so ever .

Sumit I agree that govt must refrain from entering the areas which can be handled by private sector but policy making is a govt job and then private sector will come in picture ,so no point of conflict between you and others.

Also one should be more careful while commenting upon others.

Dear Sumit,

I don't think anyone has taken away your right to express your opinion. But you seem to keep saying 'Down with Govt' in each and every post of yours. I have nothing against that too. I know you don't mean even probably 10% of what you write but even then I respect your opinion.

However, your liberty ends where other peoples nose starts. You can say what you like but please don't generalise. You seem to have a special dislike for people who have served in the Armed Forces. I don't know why but I suppose I can guess the reason why, but my sense of responsibility and need to maintain decorum on this site stops me from taking a guess. My guesses can be rather nasty.

There is no point blaming the earlier generation. You abuse your forefathers and they would abuse theirs. Then both can blame the 'Government'.

What do you want us to do? Go to New Delhi and sit on a 'Dharna' outside parliament. Why don't you take the lead? Like I said elsewhere, it is easy to 'Chin Wag'.

Keep posting.

JS Malik

The conflict has always been between the Indian and the Pakistani government. It was never between the people of the two countries.

This is evident from the fact that people from both sides get warm welcomes when they travel accross the border.

There is an anti-government movement revving up in just every country around the world. Someone somewhere is finally recongnizing the problem.

We all are co-ordinating our efforts to love the individual and hate the government. Once there will be no government and we will live in a border-free world, there wont be anymore international conflicts.

There will still be psychos all over the placewho will dream of having their own kingdomes and harems, but we will kill and bury the whole concept of government so deep in its grave that it will never happen again.

Government is just an illusion. It happens only when people give in to its authority. That is why empires happened. Once people stopped respecting the authority of the empires, even the greatesof all empires fell like a "houses of crads."

The key lies in that we just need to stop respecting authority. The only authority an individual must respect is that of his or her own will. To heck with government authority.

Soldiers fight for government. They never fight for the people. I can give you countless examples of soldiers who turned their guns on the citizens at the click of a finger from the government.

Curfews and shoot at sight are the best example.

esides you can see what happened in 1984 during operation bluestar. I do not buy the governments hogwash. To kill a handful of terrorists you did no have to kill hundreds of innocent civilians.

thousands of civilians have perished in Kashmir.

In Nepal, the King asked to shoot at protesting civilians just recently.

Pol pot's soldires killedmillion in cambodia.

Chinese military killed hundreds of innocent students during the 1989 upsrising.

Hitlers soldeires killed six million jews.

In Sudan, the military is murdering innocent christian sudanese by the hundreds every day.

In Afghanistan the taliban killed hundreds of thousands of civilians.

and on and on.

I am sure that if the th govt. asked people like Col. Tevathia to kill us, they would have done so by thinking twice.

Thankfully, it never happened becuase the govt never needed it, since we wet our pants just by the notion of govt.'s authority. Why would the govt. need to use military force against us, when we are just too scared of being hung upside down in a local police station and beaten like an ass.

Two words: MILITARY KILLS

Mark them.

During the last century military has killed morepeople than hunger, disease, famine and other distaters put together. A very huge majority of those killed by ht emilitary were innocent civilians, who were termed "collateral damage."

Coincidentaly these "collateral damages" happend to be someones loved one.

Military is that tool of the govrnment that it uses to control the masses.

You think that I know only 10 percent of what I say is what I know. I want you to dispute 10 percent of what I have to say and back it up with facts.

Dear Sumit,

Please don't mention it. There is hardly a JAT family that hasn't lost a loved one. What to do? Disband the JAT Regiment and recall all JATS form the Military. You can't abolish all the Armed Forces of the World, can you? Even the utopian state and the borderless world that you would create one day in future by abolishing Govt will need military or not? If not please suggest an alternative method by which all citizens would abide by the laid down law? Do you foresee any crime in your Utopian State? If so, how would you control it?

About 100 Thousand Indians die in Road accidents ever year. I know you will blame the Govt for that too because they are the ones who made the roads. In fact there were millions of people who got work because of such work. May be the Govt should have allowed them to die of hunger. Or handed over the roads to TATAS & Birlas to make money out of BOT (Built - Operate - Tranfer) system.

Millions die all over the world due to smoking. Blame the Govt. Why did they give licence for their production? May be the tobacco farmers too should have been allowed to die or alternatively all smokers should start cultivating tobacco in their back yard.

I expect better arguments to be convinced. Please check your facts.

JS Malik

As I said in my last post, government happens only becuase people respect authority. There wont be any government when peopel stop respecting authority. We need to start hating authority, starting from me.

So, atleast you admit that Jats are in the military for their own personal reasons. I hope that we start being more productive by doing something else besides joining the army or Delhi Police.

Inthe ideal world that I strive for, it will be governed by the declaration of the natural law. Natural law outlines the right to live and prosper.

I admit that there will be crime no matter what. But, it would still be better to live in a world where you can hold those accountable who were supposed to serve and protect you.

People are robbed and killed in the streets. But, is there any way we can hold the police responsible for what happened?

On the other hand, we can have insurance that compensates for our loses, and we can have private security that can be held accountable when our natural rights are threatened.

Now you will say that private security would be unaffordable. So were television and cellphones, not long ago. Now every home has it after makrtet opened up.

What difference does it make. Having no security at all is as bad as having security provided by those who cannot be held accountable for your losses.

It is as good as buying a car, and when you leave the showroom, the salesman tells you that they wont be responsible for any problem with the car no matter what. If the car blows up down the streat and you get grilled to death because of a manufacturing defect, the car company may not be held accountable for it. Sounds like delhi police to me. You pay taxes to have police in the first place, but you cnnot hold them accountable if you loose your loved ones.

Road accidents do not ahve anything to do with what I have to say. they happen for all togehter different reasons.

Someone will need to travel. Thus someone will need roads. Thus someone will make roads. Thus someone will be hired to make the roads. And employemnt will still happen.

I am not asking the tats and birlas to own the roads. And whats wrong if they can do it better than anyone else at a much better price. Its just lik when you go shopping for a TV. You buy the one that best fits your needs for the best price.

Isnt the government milking money out of the road business. I am sure that you are aware of all the kickbacks that happen in this business. The money comes from nowehre but your pockets. Contractors who grease the politicians hands for lucrative contracts make that money by sending out inflated bills or using inferior quality material for construction. Afterall they have to recover the money they spent to brinbe the government.

jagmohan said:

Blame the smokers for it.

Whether government licenses some thing or bans other othings hardly make any difference. Stupid people still do stupid things. All kinds of banned drugs and substances are available out there. People consume them and die. On the other hand people consume "government licensed tobacco," and still die.

Government hardly makes any difference. People will do whatever they want to do.

When people start becoming smarter and stop smoking, demand for tobacco will go down, and cigarete manufacturers will go out of business. The tobacco farmers may move on to something else. It is not mandatory for them to cultivate tobacco and only tobacco.

The thesis of my argument is that government should not have the ability to influence our lives becuase at the end of the day we decide what is best for us. Government intervention is just an added social cost that is borne by the taxpayer.

Dear Sumit,

I am not convinced because you make the same points again.

Let me tackle them one by one.

I hope you know that in India Military Service is voluntary. As you have chosen to do what you want to do, similarly thousands of JATS chose to serve in the military. Any problem with that? Or your Utopian system wouldn’t allow people to do what they want? What do you mean more productive? It would become impossible to debate with you if you can’t even understand that military does contribute in many ways towards nation building. Research and also think how.

And if your idea of being productive is working for a private enterprise, I am already laughing. Seriously, do you really feel that one can be totally free by working in a private enterprise? Everyone is not as intelligent as you are to study or work in a foreign land. My experience of nearly five years in a private enterprise tells me otherwise. The more one is educated and accomplished, the more he helps the company to defraud customers and the “Govt”.

The Natural Law declared by NATURE is Survival of the Fittest. You admit there will be crime. Everyone will have ‘Private Security’? Like Osama Laden and the drug cartels? Aap sach mein mahaan ho. Private security. Tell me frankly Sumit. Tu time pass kar rya hai na?

And how will you hold those criminals accountable? The natural law of yours would be written down by intelligent people I suppose. It would have some punishment earmarked for each crime. Who will decide whether the punishment awarded is severe or lenient? Oh, I forgot. You will obviously be holding an important position in that state and would be a decision maker. my be you would choose/appoint a group of people to decide? Something like a 'Panchayat'?

And who will ‘Guard your Guards’?

There will be something that would always influence our lives, if not the Govt then it would be your ‘Utopian Management’.

To take this further please let us know the following about your Utopian State:

1. Constitution.
2. Rights & Duties.
3. Vision, Mission & what have you.
4. Criminal Justice System.
5. System of Governance.
6. Public Grievance Mgt.
7. Something on Health & Education.
8. Religion.

My Dear Sumit,
Think it is time to come out of your bubble and see what lies outside it. Facts do not cease to exist even if they are ignored. You can criticise each and every one but what have you got to show for your achievements. Older generation may still be recovering from aftermath of slavery. But what about the present generation who is so quick to point the fingers at others but are so self centred that they prefer to live in bubble of their own. All they can think about is their little selves. Give me this, give me that, give me clean Government, clean society. What about making efforts to clean up your own mess and save the environment and hand over to your next generation what you got from your previous generation.Your language only shows your anger. Who are you angry at ? At the system or government or on yourself for being helpless. If you are so confident of your theory of progress why not clean up the system. That may be harder than you think, instead it may be easier to curse your elders for raising you and helping you become what you are to-day. Let us not forget that person who can not control his own anger stands very little chance of controlling any one else or making difference. Please do us a favour and present your opinions in a civilised manner of which your parents can be proud.

Most of your post is invective and no argument would convice you so I will save my energy and time...

The following statement has lots of fallacy... There were other factors which differentiated 3 countries... Allies "made" west Germany after war... and Russia made East one... Germany has resources, is small countary and people with strong nationalistic attitude and problems were temporary... Security burden of both Japan and Germany were taken care by US(actually of whole Europe when Europe could boast of US having having nuclear bomb against Russia in cold war)... All they invested was in development... Even though Germany was devasted their problems were simple compared to Indian problems which weren't just development related but lack of working model of govt., huge population, illiteracy and other hinderances... (Naipual's non-fictions give very good insight on this issue)

You just seem to bitch about anything related to govt. May be good for philosophical specualtions but not at all pratical.

Agree in letter and spirit. However, Sumit's Democratic Republic of Utopia can still materialise if each and everyone of us has attained Sumit's level of intelligence and reasoning and start giving as much respect to human lives as Sumit does. Unfortunately, it is not the case.

Humans, by nature want to subjugate others and, ironically at the same time want to submit to some superior authority. And it has something to do with our instincts. Something as primitive as reproduction.

Having said that, I'm pained to see that free speech is being curbed on Jatland. If certain members are held more more equal than others, plz don't crub my right to free speech if I say Jatland risks being converted into an animal farm.

Here in this thread we have had a nice and healthy round of arguments and counter arguments. Isn't it a proof enough of our, the younger members', sense of responsibilty?

Lastly, we should not let ourselves being awed by the Holy Cows. Silence should prevail by answering questions not by supressing them.

Dahiya's extremism ?????

I think Sumit just lost it , relax my friend and think who is going supressing whose freedom of speech. Matlab ki aap bolo to freedom of speech aur hum bolein to taanashahi.

You have no rights whatsoever to try to disgrace our Military by comparing it with POL POT & HITLER'S ARMY. What a shame !!!!!

Rahi baat Govt Control ki , to bhai sahab agar aap yahi JATLAND.COM pe apna rona rotey rahogey to koi nahi sunega , to isiliye ye jaroori hai ki govt involvement ho ya na ho lekin kum kum se kum jo janata ki chuney huye hain ( By Hook or Crook) unhe kisi ke saamney to jawabdeh hona hi padega na. Reasonably unreasonable

The whole debate seems to have started because Sumit Dahiya was uncomfortable with Col Malik making some people uneasy about Mallika. Sumit finds her “sexy” and there he begins a new thread. No problems so far.
The actress in her beginning years could truly be called a “whore” because she lacks anything that can be called “an iota of grace”. She proclaimed to have taught villagers how to use contraceptives on NDTV. She wanted to tell people “truly” how husband and wife smooch and entwine their legs; hence she picks up sleazy/real situation roles.
For her coarse mannered speech about sex, she was at that time ridiculed by almost everyone in media. It was partly the jealousy among rivals for the attention she was drawing, but for most part (genuinely) because of her sleazy skin business attitude. If one is shown her interviewing skills two years back, and asked to comment about her “potential”, and if she does not belong to your caste, you would not pay attention to her or may be just the other “item girl” , the output of modern cinema.
Shobha De when asked by Shekhar Gupta about mallika in a teasing manner replied that the girl would soon learn the lessons of the industry. If we take an ideological stand of Mr Dahiya (applying the same logic as he does for rest of his general awareness), we should brand her for ever and say “Oh a slut will always remain one.” But people who are more experienced do not abolish possibilities.
Statistics can similarly be put for testing if we ask how many of such “boys” like Sumit would be able to make any change in the society. If you use similar standards for judging your potential the result might plunge into obscurity. At that time you may find only a handful of people who would say “If it’s natural that such outrageous extremism has not done any good, @@@@ nature two times over. We think our “boy” can do It.” Such people can really give “fresh air” to the spirit of making comeback despite the failures of past. And these people would only be like Col Tewathia and Col Malik.
I hope Mallika gets better, but so should any young politician who is trying to do anything positive.
“A fanatic is one who can't change his mind and won't change the subject.”
Sir Winston Churchill

Firstly the subject of this thread is abt Deepender Hooda but i havent seen any comments on Deepender in this thread. So pls Change the heading or u are also attracting people by writing the name of Depender Hooda. Secondly abt ur opinion abt govt. which doesnt seems a reality cos how can u run a country without govt. Thirdly, abt military ur language used for military is not acceptable by most of the jatlanders. One more thing abt Mallika is that if she is sexy than who cares and if ur saying this even than who cares. Bhai ek baat aur har baat mein aap govt. ko le aate ho mere khayal se aapne ek baar jatland per Chunav ladne kee iccha jahir karte hue kaha tha kee app agla Loksabha ka chunaav ladenge toh woh aapne kyon kaha tha mujhe yeh bhee nahin samajh aa raha.
Baaki bhai aisa hai kai baat hain jo privatization se hal ho saktee hain but if u say tht we can run a country without a govt. than bhai mere khyal se toh aapne iske liye kai janam lene padenge aur woh bhee kisi ka Avtaar bankar.

next u said ke bina govt. ke desh kaisee chall saktaa haii............areeyy bhaii kyaa kabhii sey yee govt chalii aa rahii haiii yahann.????? pehle bhii desh chaltee thee chahe wo ANGREJ chalatey thee.........yaa firr AUTOCRACY chaltii thi......parr desh main sab kuch hota thaa jo aaj........@angrej shimla taaii chodd geyy thee railway line neyy.......kaangress 55 saall raajj kar gii aazzaadii paachee manalii taaii naa baniii railway line inpee......its jus shame nd a simple example of working of the so called govt.......

lastly .. u said ke abhi aisa kuch possible nahi haii jaisa aap soch rahe hain.....janam lene padenge....avtaar nd all .....uff...................istead off apreciating the thoughts of sumit u r being sarcastic to him.....nd as like other members u r feeling very proud sain so to him.........at least u shall have the respect of thoughts he possesses in the time when his thoughts r regarded as useless nd of ny other janam........one day will surely cm when the govt system will change in the world nd a new system will emerge nd who knowss the thoughts of sumit might come in existence nd followed by people like us..........bt we wont b here to view this change........u know these changes take place so slow tht u nd the leader who wants to bring these changes do not know tht the change is abt to occur.........so atleast give a thought to it and think wt u all rr writing out here.......................

although sumit bhai saab is nt rite in using his language in respect of sm senior members out here.......i also think so like u all.............bt these things happen nd are smaller in context of the philosophy adopted bt an individual...........dont think abt them on frst sight bt at later sight................the negetives of smthing shall nt b higher than the positives of tht thing........................

keep pouring......guys...............
