Hi Jat Bhahiyo, after spending around 2 years in testing i tend to move to programming. I never had any issue with testing but programming fanaticizes me. There are so many developers here on jatland who can help me to find best way to migrate to programming before i apply for job here (London, there are thousands of programming jobs).
Few questions to ask here, which programming language I shall start with. I know bit of java, ASP and SQL. To be honest i need some experienced guy who can help me to get some small project and check my progress. I know i am asking a lot here, it’s just a curtsey appeal if anyone can help me.

hi sandeep

plz tell how much time u wanna spend to learn technoloty. if u have short span of time then go for dot net other wise every one know that java has good market both in respect of money and jobs.

you write u know sql and asp. then u can switch over in dot net easily.

Neeraj you are always welcome to ask about testing, u can email me on ashuchoudhary@hotmail.com with your queries and Praveen i got around 6 months for preparation to get into programming. Meanwhile i am learning whole product architecture through interaction with developers but in company i can reveal my main motto of being a developer.
it seems java is best language to start with. What do u say? Any suggestion more then welcome
