Dharmendra : 70 Years

अभिनेता धर्मेंद्र आठ दिसंबर को 70 साल के हो गए. धरम सिंह देओल का जन्म आठ दिसंबर 1935 को पंजाब राज्य में हुआ.

एक फ़िल्मी पत्रिका की प्रतिभा खोज प्रतियोगिता में चुने जाने के बाद धर्मेंद्र अभिनेता बनने मुंबई आ गए.

60 के शुरूआती दशक से लेकर अब तक धर्मेंद्र लगभग सवा दो सौ फ़िल्मों में अभिनय कर चुके हैं.

कभी 'दिल ने फिर याद किया' में वो रोमांटिक हीरो बने तो कभी 'सत्यकाम' में एक देशभक्त. कभी 'हक़ीक़त' में वो फ़ौजी बने तो कभी 'आँखें' में 'जासूस'. 'शोले में वो वीरू बनकर गब्बर सिंह से टकराए तो 'चुपके-चुपके' में प्रोफ़ेसर परिमल त्रिपाठी उर्फ़ प्यारे मोहन बनकर अपने जीजाजी को परेशान कर दिया.

Lady killer jat for sure....Dashing and handsome! Greeb maa-baap ka beta with hardly any education came to mumbai and attained big hieghts......'Kutte mei tera khoon pee jaungga'...was his punch line in almost all his movies.

Happy Birthday to Dharmendra Jee,

Par mane to ib Bombay ke kuttyan (dogs) ki chinta ho rhi hai, bera na aaj kitna ka khoon pee jaaga yo Dharam Singh.

Par ek baad bahdiya hai ki Dharmendra hamesha kuttyan ne phela warn kar de kare, "Kutte aaj main tera khoon pe jaaonga"

i am a fan of Dharam Ji too ......... absolutely dashing and most handsome actor in Bollywood till date .....

God Bless him with good health, peace and happiness .

A real Jat ..... handsome , rough and tough , self made against all odds and has the guts to handle two women at the same time and keep them both happy

ताऊ धर्मेन्द्र्

भाईयों ताऊ धर्मेन्द्र् की सारी फ़िल्मों से ज़्यादा यादगार है 1997 क फ़िल्म् फ़ेयर अवार्ड् जहां ताऊ ने जाटशाही दिखाई थी और वो हर साल अवार्ड् मिल्ने की ऊम्मीद में नया सूट सिल्वाने वाली कहाणी सुनाई थी. Hindi mein likhne mein kaafi kathinaai ho rahi hai par koshish jaari hai , dheerey-dheerey.


Although he had a couple ( may be 10+a couple ) of drinks but I have no doubt that even without drink he would the same way tell how the film industry discriminated against him and though he was nominated numerous times for the best actor award , he was never awarded one.actually Sunny won his national award before Dharmendra ever won an award.He ripped though the whole politics behind these awards and if i remember correctly the show abruptly ended चालीस् साल् बाट् दिखाई थी आखिर.
