Why do you always take the things in pretext of 'jobs'. Docter means a person, who knows the work of treating others' ailments, engineer means a person, who knows the work of machines (or in whichever stream one has done engineering; electric, computer or whatever). Doctor can open a clinic anywhere. In each part of the world people fall ill. Suppose there are a lot of doctors in some hospital and outside the hospital many doctors are in que to apply for the job, then the doctors of that hospital will lose reputation. If we have a number of clinics in our locality, then the doctors of my area will not have such reputation, what they could have if they were in quantity of 1 or 2. Same thing is applied with the engineers. There are a lot of work for the engineers in private sector. If they go more than the demand, then they will sure lose the reputation. The employer will threat them to sack, to give less money, if engineers will protest then employer will not hesitate to fire them, because there are a lot of engineers in que outside his office. Why do labours have no reputation? Because there are a lot of people to do the labour work. That's what I meant.
Jeezzz...That's cheating Uppu.
By the way I didn't use the word 'smart' only for male Jats. I used that word for all (even kids). In conversation I think 'he' is used if all kind of persons are concerned. And in dictionary I found a lot of meanings of 'smart'. Yes I agree what definition you have given for this word, but do you think that 'handsome' word can be used for even a kid? 'This kid is very handsome', do you think it's ok? If you still not content, then I request all to read the word 'smart' in my above posts as 'good looking, fair coloured, handsome, beautiful and attractive'.
Some meanings of 'smart' as per the dictionary:
