Dear All Uk Jats-i Have Been Unsuccessfully Trying To Organise Get Togethers Of Uk Jats For The Last One Year But I Am Still Optimistic And Want To Give Another Try.......

Let`s Celeberate Diwali Together .....
Does Anyone Have Any Views Where We Can All Get Together This Time During Diwali?.....

How says ur not successful RAJ.....We know ur are trying and U will be successfull.....

..... however UK JATs don't have that blood which boils for motherland and brothers.... UK jaakae saare ANGRAAGE ban gayae hai (not soory for the comments).....OR MAY BE SOME OTHER PERSONAL REASONS ....


Lets hope you guys have SUCCESSFULL GET TOGETHER IN DIWALI .....

Have you given any thought on the place where you want the get together to take place? Let me know wherever it is. You can count me in.
Common Jats in UK. Let us help Rajpal succeed this time. He has been trying hard for a get together.

It sounds like a brilliant idea and at the same time I have to regret my absence. I will be on my fieldwork in october and november in toronto and would not be able to make it on the Diwali get together.

However, if there is anything I can help you with in the meantime, please let me know.

Venue + Date

Hi Rajpal,
Can you decide on the date and the venue? I don't think people will respond unless they know the venue and the date. I think the Diwali is on 1st which is a Tuesday. So I presume you would like the get together to be on the precding Sunday.

Dear Ms. Priti,

I have been reading your posts and it looks to me that you are a committed community member who want to interact when ever and where ever an opportunity arrives. Toronto people join the NE Chapter of AJA and many of them do attend our annual picnic and Diwali Function. We would be holding our Diwali Function on 5th November in NJ, which is a Saturday. We have rented a bigger hall, as we had more members last year and our traditional hall looked small to accomodate nearly 200 members. We had a lots of fun and interaction followed by the traditional Vegetarian Indian Food. The function starts with Laxmi Pooja.

Kindly see your schedule, and try and make it to our function. It will be a great pleasure for us to see our young people joining commuity functions. At the same time you would also get an opportunity to meet the maximum community members from the NE specially from the Tristate Area.

If you decide to attend this function, kindly email me at my private email veerutav@optonline.net Give me your mailing address in Canada or Contact # or both so that we can email, mail and send you verbal invitation. We use all the three methods to contact our members.
 
I am amazed that no one seems to be interested in a get together in the UK. I am sure there are quite a few of us in the UK.
Raj, my feeling is that you should now close this thread. There is no point in keeping it alive.

It is very sad!! (I'm probably not eligible to say that since i'm not attending myself:( ...)

but guys dont feel discouraged....am sure that the UK jats are either not visiting the website frequently or have missed this thread...

what about the senior people in the UK...am sure they know a lot of jat families here....any suggestions?

Agar koi mera one-way fair pay karta hai to I am ready to join UK diwali pooja:-))))

Aur Priti, since you will be near to us.. aap NJ diwali pooja mein aa jao(read Tewatiaji's message). Ok one-way fair mein pay kar doonga:-)* That way we can make up for eachother's absence.

get in touch with Ch. Dharampal Dudeeji and you will have no problems in organising the diwali get together. He knows most of jats in UK. All the best.

Ticket to book ho gayi...be ready with your cheque book....aise majaak nahin karte...especially when one's still a student :p

Tewatiaji se to meri baat ho gayi.....dont have a US visa...will see if i can get one in Canada...hard chance though considering I'm just a visitor there.

Any clue what Canadian jats are doing on diwali....just in case i miss both UK and US :o

Iam vinod from bangalore (currently), I have a request andneed some help with regards to a dearfriend of mine.

My friend Sudhir Dagar is travelling to London and is comming to pursue his Law (LLM). Like others he is not knowing as he is travelling to a European country for the first time.

Is there some one who can help him. He is flying this 15th.
