Dear friends,

I posted a thread on 6th Dec 2012(see at bottom of msg). There was not even a single reply or support. Long back i started a thread where i wrote about NRI's , may be not in a positive way and there was lot of replies and fighting.Everybody claimed to be a patriot. Finally i was banned for 4 months. Now I see that when somebody want to do something good , nobody have time for support. It looks like we like criticism and fighting more than a positive support. Few replies and support would have definetly boosted me. Brotherhood is only on paper. We can talk good and nothing else.

Dear, nationalism and national love is really on paper and for lectures and discussions only, frankly speaking, out of 24 hrs does any body think about nation even for a minute, what to talk about a lay man but even our rulers have no time for the country. congratulations and thanks for your website, well done keep it up, regards

given a chance most of the Indians will like to get out of India ask people they would like to go to developed countries for jobs and to live their....reason is simple India has failed miserably ,we as a national have not solved a single problem that was at the time of independence.

look at our politicians or businessmen they are in this country because of big market and corrupt system which provides them easy ways to become super rich......
how many of our elite would like to send their sons and daughters into army.........answer is none .no body cares for nation unfortunately we are moving towards another partition on communal lines i don`t see India celebrating 100 years of independence with present boundaries ......we have Bangladeshis, rohingyas , Pakistanis living in our country and killing innocent ppl politicians do not care for our lives they care for their vote banks...........

Dear -please no offence however you sounded like a pessimist.

Somebody replies to ur posts or not -----I do not see how that lowers your morale . When u know U r the best , n r doing good why u expect others to stand next to you .

Now -----Who is a Patriot ?
One who talks about his nation 24X7 , who serves in defence , who devote life to welfare of his country men , n many others .

Yar----in layman language who so ever doing his work honestly ------trying his best to fulfil all of his responsibilities is a Patriot .
Be its a teacher , defence people , politician , bracteate ,farmer , student , doctor , engg , social worker , home maker -------everyone.

Dear ------now little logic over here , replies n all would have shown the " Brotherhood " .
Nahi ji , I do not agree.

Hey----no offence----whatever u r aiming to do ---all d best .

.

I slightly disagree bro.

I am in a developed country but reason is not because India has failed,NO but because I wanted a global exposure. For the same reason you would see a lot of white skin people coming to India as well. Infact I see a tide of people who wish to go back and start a venture in the country and that is only because the country has managed to grow at a steady pace thanks to our correct policies.

Hope sustains the world so do your duty honestly; if you are right the things would automatically move in right direction.

Remember friend :Pessimism kills a man much time before he really passes away !

India might not have failed BUT you are in developed country not just to get Global exposure. You are there and might stay there forever as you earn more than what you would have in India. Period.

Global exposure ka excuse dene waale kai aur log bhi hain jo kaafi saal se wahana hain aur global exposure le lekar unki khaal utar chuki hai..

All I can suggest is not to assume on others behalf to suit your belief.

When I came to the US I was earning way more than expected for my age in India and had a successful career. I gave up on that and came here to start from scratch and yes I had my own struggle which everyone does(I am not an IT guy, I didnot come here for a project). Abroad there are no green pastures as you or others assume, in fact here one has to give up on a lot of luxury that you have in India and struggle much more.

Friend,

Your spirit and sense of struggle is appreciable but friend you cannot deny that all the ground work for taking you to that stage was provided by your family, up bringing, education, culture and all that constitutes milieu of the day. It is good that you are doing well there and wish you all success in your venture !

In some other posts it has been mentioned that most of the Indians want immediate migration to other nations if given a chance to do so!

How ill founded and far-fetching claim !

Regards

@DESIJAT i appreciate your reason for leaving India to get exposure ,from my experience you may be one in 10 million Indians who have that reason for leaving your country but reality is youth is wiling to do menial work in western countries than stay in India .why they choose it?have you ever thought over it? reason is they know that even that risk far outweighs our countries corrupt system.
if 100 ppl go abroad how many want to come back and how many actually come back?they may come here for business opportunity but have you ever seen Indian giving his permanent resident status from western countries and opting for Indian citizenship?

i see ppl selling their everything and entering developed countries by illegal ways, why they do so? most of the student opt for foreign studies because they have in their mind to stay there and work and leave india for ever.

Shekhar,

While life outside India looks very comfortable but one has to struggle a lot to reach where it gets comfortable. I agree that people opt illegal means, sell their land, pay lakhs of Rs. to illegal agents and that is because of the illusion created that everyone who comes abroad gets rich(which is true to some extent considering the exchange rates). Even if those folks, who are unemployed in India do menial work they end up making sufficient amount of money for a meaningful survival.

As far as citizenship is concerned, one aims for it not because they hate India but because they want to remove the uncertainty related to work visas and if given a choice I would be no exception. Even I would want to avoid being restricted by visa norms if I have decided to work in the country I have chosen to work in but nothing makes me more sad than seeing people celebrating gheir change of status(citizenship) on Facebook. One may do it for various reasons but to celebrate one leaving Indian citizenship is no reason to celebrate, not for me.

One of my professors at my school has been in the US for more than 2 decades but still only maintains a green card and has not taken the citizenship and it is a emotional decision to give up Indian passport for him, but he can afford to remain this way as he is fairly secured but majority of the lot is not.

DESI BHAI i am not hitting at you in particular ,but at the things.... as they are............i know many ppl are their who may think otherwise but there is a great sense of frustration and betrayel among ppl in india specially younger one regarding conditions in our country and developed world, as the world is a click away now they compare and contrast things regarding daily life affairs and standard of life and no doubt India is not even in frame ,forget abt comparing when it comes to a matter of good life.my words would not change things but i hope my country progress and things change so i would be compelled to change my words

I agree and that is definitely a problem.

I blame it on the illusion created by many like us who are abroad and only tell of the good life here but not the struggle and other problems similar to India that exist in every country, and of course movies also play a role here. Though I must congratulate Punjabi cinema who always gives a message of India being better through a lot of their movies.
