सानी काटूं, भैंस चराऊँ, सोऊँ खाट खरोड़ी पर,

Some people have amazing capabilities. They can "imagine" themselves constructing a sky-crapper, without knowing about the muddy land.

Kit ulat pulat ho gaya..Dhayadi pitaniye to dhayadi e pitenge! Arr dhayadi pitaniye kadd si Tata Birla bann ge! Business chahe kheti ka ho ya aur kyaein ka..uska mukabla dhayadi koni kar sakdi kaade bi.

भाई गलत सही तो जब जाना गे जब ये लुगाई दो चार किला मैं हाँड़ की ढिखा देंगी| हरे-हरे खेत देख की AC गाड़ी मैं सड़क पै घूमता कोई भी खेती न "great" बता सकै स|

उल्ट-पुल्ट तो घना ए दीना का हो रह्या स| मैं तो जीतने खेती करनिये किसान भाइयों से मिला हूँ , वो लगभग सारे धुखी हो रे सं खेती त| सब अपने बच्चों को पढ़ा लिखा कर nokri पकड़वाना चाहते हैं|

Arvind jee, you don't know me well, then how can you make such a statement about me? I come from a Jat family (land owners) and most of my blood relatives are still engaged in farming. I may not have done "lamnee" or milked a buffalo - but I have lived with people who have done for their living. I love the attitude people get (such as Jatfarmers) when they are engaged in independent enterprise as opposed to the many shoes polishing bureaucrats/government servants that I have seen.

Well, somewhere, in one of your earlier posts on this thread, you yourself had mentioned that due to your background and upbringing you had difficulty in adjusting to the culture. To me, that meant, growing up abroad or in some metro city.

I do not want to go into intricacies of language, however, living with people who are farmers and living a farming are two different things. I have yet to come across a person who 'really' wants his/her children to continue farming.

Being (independent) entrepreneurs in Agriculture or related business is again a different platform altogether. It can not be compared with the kind of hardship involved in (Indian) farming.

Yes. This issue is very close to my heart.

I have hardly ever lived in village (except for few occasional visits) and have spent most of my life living in almost all corners of India and abroad. I am interested in finding out about my roots - why are things done the way they are done in Jat Community as therein lies the answer to solving the adjustment problem that was.

I was not talking about hardship, but about the attitude that one gets being in an independent sort of an undertaking.

Evaluating oneself on the basis of other's thinking is not a good thing to do. People could be not so honest as they appear to be.

Yes, on the 'attitude' front, you are correct. The attitude is really 'great'.
 
मेरे एक दोस्त ने मुझे बताया की अगर सैन्टर की सरकार का बस चले तो ये तो कंप्यूटर-गेम्स में जो खेत दिखाई देते हैं, उनका भी अधिग्रहण कर ले | मैंने भी सहमति जताई, मेरा ऐसा अडिग विश्वास हैं की सैंटर की सरकार के अगर बस में होता तो जरुर कोई न कोई उपाय अब्ब रच दिया होता इस के लिए भी |
