Though there is no scientific explanation for this theory, our ancestors did believe that air purity remains best under a peepal tree. Maybe because most of yajnas (havans) used to be performed under the shade of peepal trees, to purify the air. A place where neem, peepal and badd are planted side-by-side, used to be called 'Triveni'.

dayanada's personality is not the one to be captured in a single formula..
ek chidiya ki beet se itna bada peepal paida hota hai. bhale hi vo kisi ki chhatt ya deewar par ho.
Oxygen/utility per unit volume of these trees is very high compared to other trees. They are easy to grow also.

why normal water gets germs if kepy for sometime whereas it doesnot happen if keep water from ganaga river.
I can list down thousands of thing which happen and there is no scientfic reason to them but you have accpet them.
Agar nature and god itne simple chez hote toh abhe tak insaan ne pata nahe kya kar diya hota.....

Dear All
Most of us believe that the peeppal tree releases oxygen even in night. Is it correct? If yes then How it can be explained scientifically.? As far as I know the oxygen is released by trees during the process of photosynthesis d in sunlight.
