DEAR SATYAPAL & DAYANAND DESWAL SAHIB
nice information about DESWAL GOTRA.
There is more on this site but DND Sahib miss that in his search. I was just watching & waiting how much we Jats know about our Gotras.

You are right Dudi Sir - compiling information on Gotras is important. The four gotras maintain 'Bhaichara' - Deswal, Dalal, Mann and Suhag. Deswals are not concentrated in a big Khap like Dahiyas, they are scattered at several places - Jind, Panipat, Rohtak, Bharatpur and Bulandshahr districts, maybe some more places. Village Bhadaani has two gotras - Deswal and Sahrawat. Vaidya Balwant who ran Ayurvedic Rasayanshala in Gurukul Jhajjar, belonged to village Baliyana. Village Ladhaut is indeed an ancient one. Swami Omanand did some research on this area but could not write a detailed account on this.
.

In UP also many Deswals are there in Baoli area. The whole area itself is called Des though it is dominated by Tomers.

Dr. Tewatia is definately one of the brightest gems among Jats ..... My chest swelled up with pride when I read this post.

This is a big finger to all those (both here & elsewhere) who question the abilities of Jats and their intellectual capabilities.

Dr. Tewatia you are a genius Sir ...... and you truly represent what makes us feel proud about our blood & our name .......

Thanks Kharabji. What happened to your organisation of World Jat Youth Organisation? You can involve many young people here like Soka, Vinod Sangwan etc.

In short, I'm thankful to Messers N K Nauhwar, Balraj Sejwal, Sandesh Dabas, Vikas Chaudhary, Gagan Rana, Rajesh Kumar Rathi and Ms. Bharti Malik Sindhu for her private message for their best wishes and encouragement. I'd love to answer each post individually but Bhartiji insists to compile the matter in one post only. My Best Wishes to all of you.

Congratulations Dr. Tewatia ji

We are proud of you on your achievement. Put your biodata on Jatland also. Keep it up !!!

regards,

Tewatia sahab I am a little kid in front of you .. dont address me with Ji please

We are currently in the process of setting up a free english academy for middle level school kids in Village - Ugalan (Tehsil - Hansi) and same for middle level girl students from Jat School Rohtak in Maharani Kishori Jat College Rohtak ........

As far as other young people getting involved it has not happened as yet .... I have been travelling a lot and with work and all .. nothing has materialised in that direction.

I think I need to come back to India for a quick visit before things will start falling into place

Thanks a lot, Sir. Good to know people like you. Thanks for your perfect information also. I used to play at Ghodi/Ghori village also in my childhood. Its near village Syohll which is my mother's village. Some gots migrated from Rohtak-Hissar area to Palwal/Ballabgarh area. Apart from Deswal, they are
Dalal
Gahlauts and Dabas of Seoul/Syohll
Kundu
Phogat
Lambas of Amarpur etc. I used to go to see Lft. General KK Singh at Amarpur in 80's. Tewatias migrated from Januthal on Deegh-Kama road in Bharatpur, Rajasthan to Janauli at Palwal more than 2000 years back. Tewatia have the biggest pal/khap at Palwal followed by Rawat, Sehrawat, Sauraut, Dagar etc.

All Chauhans at Palwal/Hassanpur like Aurangabad, Jatauli, Chhajju Nagar etc. are Nauhwars.

Dudiji, Tewatiaji, Burdakji, Kharabji, Vinod bhai, Raviji, Deswalji, Soka Norman and other Jat history members. I've a request to you to start a thread on Nahwar Jats. Though I've written somewhat when I joined Jatland but its very little. Not only me other Nauhwars also are curious. A private message received by me is quoted above. I'm sorry Bishanji to make private message public. But I did so when I found nothing private in it.

Tewatia Sir, what type of intutions you have ..... i admire that really.

Ya Sahu is my gotra. Kumbha ram Arya were Sunda.... and my garndfather and Kumbharam Arya were best friends before and after indepedent India.

They worked together in Indian freedom struggle movement and after that in politics in Rajasthan.

I really admire your freedom fighters background. We are proud of such Jats.

About intutions of Tewatia Sir, I can not comment much but he does have seemingly magical computational skills. Once we were sitting together, topic came of Sakuntala Devi, the human computer. He took a long drawing sheet and asked us to speak any numbers, that we did. It was a huge multiplication of about 30 by 30 numbers and he straight way wrote the answer from left to right. But it was difficult to check by calculator as calculator is designed for maximum 8 by 8 or 10 by 10 digits for multiplication. We gave him smaller numbers like 7 digit number by 8 digit number and like that. He kept writing answers from left to right or right to left. But all correct.

Then, spending a long time with calculator we checked his 30 by 30 digits numbers multiplication. We were stung to see that his answere was correct!

We asked him, how he does it, he said "as Sakuntala Devi does it"

Congratulations Tewatia ji,

U have been inspiring us.

Many regards,

Jat History Books

Thankyou very much Sir. It will be a great honour for me to co-author a book with you. Rather, I'm insisting to write research papers on Jat history and publish them in international journals of history. Reviewers of these journals need not necessarilly be Indians. Foreign historians are fair and usually not biased against Jat history. I'm in touch with a few in USA who are interested in World/Indian Jat history. Dr. Savescue from Romania has written many books on Romanian, Indian and World Jat history. One of his book carries the title "We (Romanians) are not Romans, We are Gets (Jats)". It will be good to interact with such historians also even if our view points are little different. If some papers are published in international journals then our say gets authenticated and we can force Indian historians too to write the text books accordingly.

We are proud of you to be from freedom fighters family. Yes, we have villages of Dallals also at Palwal. Inter marriages in Dalal and Deswal are banned. Similar is the case with Brar-Joon, Dahiya-Dabas etc.
Dear Dr Tevatia sahib
thank you very much for the noble thought.
I'm insisting to write research papers on Jat history and publish them in international journals of history.
We can do both thing same time also write the book and send them to reference library through out world the world for research.
My 4 books are in British library. Today I saw 2 of them in Ref.Library Hounslow London. Few jat buy books in India and mostly Non-jats will not buy a Jat history book any way.
You are right we many freedom fighters- war heroes & war widowes in every family. I have seen 4 generations 14 war- widowes in my family.5 are alive now.
One of my Tau ji Dhanaram Dudi Ex-M.L.A Bhadra was in CH. Khubharam Ji freedom fighter team. His son Lalchand Dudi was Ex-home minister of Rajasthan.
Ch. KhubaRam Vikaner state mae Thanedar thae aur Ch. DhanaRam Patwari.
dono ny Nokari thyag kar Jail ka rasta chuna tha.
DND Sahib you are right Bhadani mae Sherawat- Deswal aur Paraswal/Faraswal bhi han. Balawas Jat sy aaye hue. Last year I was in Bhadani & Desor kheri with Rampal Sashtri.
Azad Singh Deswal is in UK from Desorkheri.
Ex-jat school Headmaster Hoshiar Singh Deswal was in London. He is son of Capt. Dewan Singh who died at the age of 102.
Vaid Balwant unka hi bhai hae. Gurukul mae kae var unka chamanparas aur dhudh ki balti khali ki hae. Bahu seva karte han. Unke Chavanparas ka asar to Jatland per khabi apne dekha hoga.
Chalo- Bohar Bhalot Baliyana to mae Tange mae bhi aur local bus mae bhi gaya hun. rest on WIKI
cheers

Thanx, Samiksha, Its very pleasing to see Jat girls in IIT. In my batch hardly 2-3% girls used to be there. One of them Renu Malhotra at present Prof. and Director of Space Research Unit in Arizona, USA, received Distinguished alumni award this year. She was instrumental in expelling Pluto from palnet category. One more IIT Delhi alumni, Subhash Kak, has recently solved Einstein's twin paradox. I dnt know whether Kak is Jat or not but Kakran are Jats, I'm sure. Anyway, My best wishes to you.

What is this Ranwa? Is it your got? Can you please right more about it, like how many villages and which area Ranwas are found? I'm curious to know. Please, let me know if I'm of any help to you. I'm in EC of IIT Delhi but soon may be nominated for PAN IIT affairs also.

Thanks for your good wishes Lakra, Chahal and Takhar sahbs. Dudiji if you please give me a list of your published books with their abstracts/synopsis etc. then I can find the suitable International Journals for them. JNU library in Delhi is nearby.
