Dual citizenship? what say you?

PIO/OCI are not Dual Citizenship, they are long-term resident visas.

There are plenty of mutual benefits of the dual citizenship for all the stakeholders e.g. leveraging much-needed global skills and network, better and seemsless less-hassle-some integration with the global world with enhanced "make in India" opportunities, etc. NRIs/PIOs remit more than USD60 billion per year to India, a significant much needed foreign exchange earner.

What are the ways dual citizenship can be operationalized?

OCI permits all these, except Voting.
So if voting is not your concern, how it matters?

In real senses, this is not "dual citizenship", only time based visa. Everytime, you renew your passport, you would need to renew your sticker on your passport. The document cannot be even used as a ID card in India itself. "Dual citizenship" means you would have 2 passports. Maybe NRI's can shed more light on the topic.

Rohit, actually there is another easier option is to keep the old passport which has your sticker in it.

It is true that OCI is just a life long resident visa with certain rights. Following rights are not included in it.
1. Right to vote
2. Right to hold any government position
3. Can not buy agriculture land including plantation crops
4. Can not visit restricted areas without special permission.
5. Investment by any NRI will be counted as FDI
