I think you have not browse the site its not only for PSP but for iPOD too.
The only and lonely way to rip the DVD to iPod is to decrypt the entire DVD for that you require DVD rippers tool that will help to remove all its protections like CSS,RC,RCE,Macrovision,UOPs etc etc etc etc.....
Once you rip the DVD then we need to encode the entire DVD to iPOD compatible format ie MPEG-4 video file.
This is what mention in the mention link recommend by me.
For ripping a DVD you require these tools.
DVD Decrypter The latest version we've seen is 3.5.4.0.
DVDFAB Decrypter The latest version we've seen is 2.9.7.2.
DVDShrink The latest version we've seen is 3.2.0.15.
These rippers create files called "VOBs," which contain all of the video data originally found on the DVD. Sometimes, the rippers will create a large number of separate VOBs, which you'll prefer to store as just one file. In that case, a program called VOBMerge can help. It's used to merge multiple .VOB files into one.
Remember while ripping the DVD your HDD drive should be with NTFS format it should not be with FAT 16 or FAT 32.
As fas as encoding is concern there are better encoders like Videora Converter,Nero Recode 2 is available option for XP and is faster, more efficient and can encode at 640X480 for iPOD.You can use Nero Recode 2 to convert that ripped DVD to an iPOD compatiable mpeg-4 video file.

These are all free options available.
Paid solution is CUCUSOFT software package.

! I had the decrypter.. i just needed something.. that would convert.. the movie to mp4 format... n u made my life alot easier. Thanks also for the heads up about..."VOBs"... but the first movie (Golmal) that i've downloaded is in 5 parts.... n with the help of VOBmanager.. i can compress into one file!!... so, once again.. thank you very much for ur explaination.. n making it really easy for me to understand.
