Friends,
I baught LG DVD player/writer for my PC. When I am playing any DVD on it, window media player plays sound only not picture. Any Suggestions for solution!!

is this prob wid DVDs only or with every movie??

i guess u need to install codec ..... or try VLC player (plays almost anything)

did you install the DVD player software that came with the drive?

To play a DVD you need drivers that need to be installed. New DVD drives ususally come with all the software.

This DVD player came with LG software cyberlink DVD software, but when I am playing a DVD, this software does nt play smoothly. I want to play movie on media player, where I get sound only not picture.

Dear Sumit,,,

if u want to play dvds in window media player than pls download latest window media player or install any other dvd s/w may work foe u.
Note : If u hav licenced window then only u hav to able download or update media player,,
