Kindly leave acrimony generataed by election campaign behind and move forward because the issue of election of MLAs and election/selection of CM is over.

Now selection of Cabinet Ministers and members of the Council of Ministers in Haryana remains to be witnessed as who gets what !

Let us wait to see whether full fledged ministry is formed on 26th October 2014 by ML Khattar, CM designate or some vacancies are kept to be filled in in future.

Agreed in toto sir. Jats need a new leadership which is not dynastic, corrupt, gundagardi-prone, but which is progressive and having a mass following cutting across all castes.

These coming five years, though a relatively short period of time can be used as an opportunity to develop and polish that leadership.

Amit shah ne sare CM banaye the...wherever he has campaigned . Same like in Shiv Raj Chauhan did in Madhya Pradesh ( during MP elections)...isko vote do ...mantri banega. Its politics.....whatever u think would work in ur favor USE it .

Again very little I know about haryana politics - BJP ki koi aukat nahi thi Haryana mei . Abhimanyu being Jat still chose BJP over Congress / INLD ...I remember making fun of his decision years back why on earth he has joined BJP .

Politics is a dirty game with most important Trait " Patience " - yeh sharma , grover zindagi laga di now its pay day .

About Khattar ....he has already been chosen as CM due to his connections with Modi ( some RSS stuff ) . Whats wrong , one would give power to someone who they trust.

" Its not power which corrupt people , its people who corrupt power ".

Learn from mistakes ....its just 5 years .....we can get back what all we have lost .....need to work on " what went wrong .....n how to fix it " .

How to fix it ......

I was very surprised when Pravesh Verma made in MP elections . I did some reading ( no idea how worthy the resource was ) . That person went door to door of every house of his constituency . He proactively offered help small things like ration card , form filling etc ....he made his presence known to his Voters way before the elections rather to some party leader or media . BJP given him ticket not coz he is Verma....but they knew he would be a sure win .

We already have a successful formula we must use it .

Not Necessary, In Gujarat Modi kept on Anti Patel sentiments in voters and succeeded for 15 years. Same can be done here by keeping up Anti Jat sentiments in all the non Jats.

For that they will have to keep non-jat happy.

BJP retained Three seats out of 4. Fourth one became MP. Krishan Pal Gujjar. BJP MLA retained Bhiwani City seat too along with Sonipat City & Ambala Cantt.

Why INLD was hesitant backing Jats openly? INLD lost more because of their image rather Jat/non-jat factor.

Thus their popularity and acceptability in the state voters has decreased considerably even within a short span of few months between the parliamentary and assembly elections.

But credit goes to the party high command descending on Haryana with many of the central ministers led by Modi to Haryana during the election campaign and their success in convincing the people to vote for same party at centre and state ruling and influencing floating votes in favour of their party on promises made in public utterances and manifesto declarations. They had larger means to control space in advertising the Modi Model of development in comparison to other parties. Though Hooda government tried to sell out their development model through media, even then the Congress could not match their campaign management during the last leg of elections. INLD and other regional parties proved lesser entities in this respect.

This is one of the major cause of the success of BJP. The cause of failure of other parties to rise to the occasion are many and varied which could come out on deeper individual party role analysis.
