The General Election campaign for electing 16th Lok Sabha has generated great expectations in the minds of the citizens of India who are face to face with problems of inflation, price rise, corruption, unemployment and so on.

The new Government at the Centre is likely to take charge around 20th May, 2014.

Let us know what are the aspirations and expectations of the people from the NEW GOVERNMENT of INDIA.

depends who makes the govt. if congres, then no hopes. if modi ji, then there is everything for him to change. will write in detail later

Modi Should release three Blockbuster

1. Returns of Black money
2. Rises of Development
3. End of Corruption

But there is only chance of Development. Corruption and Communalism are foot of any Govt. it can't walk without these.

Any party or group/alliance of parties, whom the people of India are voting and gets majority support has to be accepted by one and all. The voters have thrown before the political leadership the need of making transparent governance and eradication of corruption.

As such the major challenge before the new Government, whosoever forms government at Delhi, would be to appoint a strong Jan Lokpal to tackle these two issues.

The youth of the nation has risen to make India Great in the comity of Nations, and they would never tolerate the continuance of these two impediments in the way of making India Great.

Polity will have to do it, not a single person !

Expectations are very high. Cut the army of paper shufflers in public service. Just cut the bureaucracy through the bone. Cut unnecessary expenditure. Shut loss making Air India. No proud in such a unprofitable business. Money could be used to build roads, highways, infrastructure etc. Shut loss making PSU's. Give the business to private in a transparent and fair manner. Cut the unnecessary spending on public schools. Instead give public an option for private education vouchers. Reform bureaucracy, introduce 21st century recruitment into public. Allow private sector professional to get into public service. There is so much to do about outdated, laid back government machinery. There is so much to do. So far Modi has talked the talk. Made the right noises. But lets if he could walk the talk.

Lol very true.

It is also expected that the corruption charges in allotment of lands [land deals] being levelled by both the Congress and the BJP in certain cases would not only be probed but the culprits would be brought before courts to face justice, after the new government comes to power.

Some points may prove good starting steps for the policy guideline of the new government.

Our country has socialistic system of governance as one of the points mentioned in the constitution of India. In view of it some steps have been initiated to provide easy means of conveyance by the government at the affordable rate of service charges. So railways and Airlines, which are public utilities or services are not meant to earn profit, they need reforming the system.

It would be better alternative than their total privatisation. People are already feeling the pinch of privatisation of national highways and resultant heavy toll taxes in every nook and corner of the country.

More than expectations, its the capability and the intention of the government what matters the most. Irrespective of any party in power, most people have almost similar expectations from any government. Main issue is whether our expectations and government's priorities are same. I feel Modi government's priorities will be very near to peoples' expectations. Kejriwal is a sure recipe for disaster. Congress has lost the plot this time.
