I think main reason behind extramarital affairs is this belief that 'life is one, so enjoy it to the fullest.' There are also many other reasons i.e. strong opposite sex attraction, spouse being not upto the expectations, one of the spouse being involved in abusive relations etc. Mostly teens start having 'enjoyment' from the age of 14-15 or so. In mostly teens it is the very common scene. A boy and girl fall in so called love, then talking to each other for hours on mobile phone, then meeting in parks, malls, kissing each other in cinema halls, then boy takes the girl on some safe place (mostly some friend's room, some hotel room or car or some remote corner of some park as well) and then both break the all limits, then after some time there is break-up. Then boy finds another girl and girl finds another boy. It keeps going on for years. When both get addicted of this abuse and get married with some other one then they find themselves unable to leave this good habbit and then they fall in extra marital affairs.

It is one's mentality, not loneliness alone, which drives one falling in abusive sexual relations. If one has kept on with good character for a long time then he/she finds it difficult to give such habbit up, but if someone has kept on with bad habbit (like having sex before marriage), then one finds it very hard to give it up as if one has to be saint, then he/she should have thought about it long time ago, now what is the use? If one has sexual relations with dozens of partners then how can one get away of it?

this is what is going "ON" let it be Mujafar Nagar or any other place of world. You can see the situation in westen countries what is going on, and the root cause is same more than 70 % kids are harami and doing the same, there is nothing like they are honest in relations and open. Honest is who keep his honesty to the relationship, and open doesnt means to do the things on road which are suppose to be done in bedroom and infact others in society. peoples can be be infactious with all sort of inputs, direct contact, Video or audio. aur fir aapne woh kahawat toh suni hi hogi ki kharbooje ko dekh kar kharbooja rang badalta hai. Let's first understand what Hindu Marriage Act 1955 says: -
Hindu Marriage Act not only makes bigamous marriage void but also punishable under s.17 read with sections 494 and 495 of Indian Penal Code. What is to be established is that the second marriage is valid but for this provision and the spouse to the first marriage is the legally wedded spouse and the that marriage is having its existence on the date second marriage is solemnized- Gopal Lal v. State of Maharashtra AIR 1979 SC 713

In order to render second marriage invalid, it is necessary to establish first marriage as valid. Where an application to claim maintenance is moved by second wife, onus is upon the husband establishing the second marriage in contravention of the provisions of cl.(1) of s.5 - Mohan Ram v. Badamo Devi 1974 cr. LJ 227

Suffering from schizophrenia is a sound ground for a decree of nullity. Whether the disease is curable or not does not make any difference. Where in due course the disease is cured, it would not affect the question of validity of marriage.- Tulsi Bai v. Manoharan 1990 (1)HLR 318

Note: In haw many Jat matrimonial alliances this "Saptpadi or 7 ferey" are performed? I iknow there are so many within caste marriages 4 ferey are performed. So as per Hindu Law are such marriages void?

I like that. Hindu Marriage Act is very liberal and encompasses almost any kind of ceremony as long as the people getting married agree to it.

(ia) has, after the solemnization of the marriage, treated the petitioner with cruelty ;or

(ib) has deserted the petitioner for a continuous period of not less than two years immediately preceding the presentation of the petition; or,]

(ii) has ceased to be a Hindu by conversion to another religion; or

(iii) has been incurably of unsound mind, or has been suffering continuously or intermittently from mental disorder of such a kind and to such an extent
that the petitioner cannot reasonably be expected to live with the respondent.

Punishment for Contravention of Certain Other Conditions for a Hindu Marriage
Every person who procures marriage of himself or herself to be solemnized under this Act in contravention of the conditions specified in clauses (iii), (iv) 3[and (v)] of section 5 shall be punishable-
(a) in the case of a contravention of the condition specified in clause (iii) of section 5, with simple imprisonment which may extend to fifteen days, or with fine which may extend to one thousand rupees, or with both;
(b) in the case of a contravention of the condition specified in clause (iv)or clause (v) of section 5, with simple imprisonment which may extend to one month or with fine which may extend to one thousand rupees, or with both.

V. P. Singh Ji, though I had written 'I think' in my related post, which should have been taken as 'these are my own thoughts, others may differ', but well, that would have been just a formality if wrote any disclaimer like this.
It is neither my imagination nor I have undertaken any survey. It is much more than any survey in fact. A survey is conducted upon some hundred people in a not very long time mostly. What I had written is what I have observed and experienced since I started understanding this world. It is the experience of more than 20 years of mine. What I saw in my surroundings, what I saw in my friends, in my colleagues, what I got in news papers, tv and other media sources. Then I wrote that mostly people in this world have more than one sex partners throughout the life. It's a bitter truth.

It is a fact that on mostly occasions it is man who seduces a woman and not vice versa. Women try to do all those things what men do (be it having more than one sex partner or whatever). It proves that women follow the men. When a girl is taken to some place to have 'enjoyment of life', then on mostly occasions she protests, but when the 'real pig' insists then she surrenders. So, I was serious and I was not joking. It is the reality. You agree or not, it is upto you.
