female mods

I didn't know we have got 2 new Moderators off late. But they need to know few things before they select a member's name in their UNLUCKY DRAW.....

1. We haven't seen any moderator banning SO QUICKLY ....or say AT SPUR OF THE MOMENT
2. There are LOTS N LOTS of members who have used ALL SORT OF ABUSES BUT ARE NEVER BANNED PERMANENTLY:o
3. Since you have kind of imaginary power to ban a member it doesn't mean that you'll ban on clip of your fingers inspite judging of the member of their contribution in all forums. How many females have we got WHO HAVE COURAGE TO STAND AGAINST ALL MALES ALL ALONE? Who is bold enough to face ALL **** alone? You just fancied her name nad banned?

4. She might have used slangs but she could be warned. I don't think that she has ever had as many differences with fellow members as I HAD and i'm surprised I AM NOT BANNED? Yeah she's more bold than other female members but are we supposed to BEHAVE LIKE THAT FOR REST OF OUR LIFE?

Why to allow females join JL if you have to shoo them off like this?

exactly brother !! and banning is not the solution.. even such type of decision will lead to further tension/misunderstadig among administration and members and that is not a good sign.
My humble request to moderators please reverse your decision and let every one have his words in a proper way.
 
See the consequences now, I heard Seema is banned by a Female Mod without any particular Reason! It proves....doesnt it?? :rolleyes:

That is very Unfortunate. I guess this is not for the first time that such kinda complaining thread was there....every now n then there ve been threads where differences between mods n members came to surface. But as far I remember, no one was banned for that; forget about forever.
Not only this,,otherwise too, there ve been much of stuff posted on threads here which appeared quite derogatory, still no corrective measure was taken.
So now banning Seema forever seems to be a biased n impulsive action on the part of decision makers. If there was some differences of opinions, or if something was found objectionable,,, a warning measure wud ve been good enough.
This is surely not a welcome step to forever ban people with such creative capabilities.

Thats not a fair and balanced decision. Althought u may be right but justify it, we want to know what Seema did so that she is banned so that we will bear all such things in mind and will remain at safer side.

Is she banned for some post in this very thread or some other.
Which ever may be the thread banning for life seems to be very brutal and should not have been done.
We surely can not enforce the limits on humor(expression) this way.
really shocking stuff
 
As Jatland is an open forum where everyone can express their opinions and views. Moderators are required when the things go out of control. So they may opt many ways to caution people. We do such things only to correct someone that doesnt means that person is wrong may be his or her ideas dont go well to the general people.
So there is no issue that who is better and we are not here to fight for such silly issues .

I came into work today and saw kat-le-aam on Jatland. So they banned Seema and Soka Norman
.....hmmmmm! Not cool. 1 or more of the mods seem to be a digital bully. No explanations, just hide behind the computer and shoot.
This action is lazy, abrasive and cowardly.

and next one is me... hahaha... but i love our community's intellect, decision making, behaviour and coordination which we all r very much proud of:p
 
As far as how I understand this, the newly crowned moderators just cannot take such decisions on their own. So, it has to be mutually decided among the moderators to ban someone. And, maybe that is how it had been. I, for that matter, we, don't really know.

And Cooljat bhai, I still do not agree with you. Let's say that Miss XYZ made a wrong decision(we are still unsure if its really wrong) here then that means the person assigning her the task of moderation made a wrong decision too. If that person is a guy then can we say with the same philosophy that "Men are also NOT good in making decisions"?????? I wonder!!

In my humble opinion, this thing has got nothing to do with gender. Period!!

I wonder how many people know Soka Norman .... and crying for the justice ...... do you really know what he was upto ?

He was planning on hacking into Jatland and leave a virus there for the Admins/mods - so that they can become his slaves and he could use them for kheeti-baadi (farming), laamni - as unpaid laborers.

You owe us all an explanation. Explanation would mean a justification and not just a simple "we did it". A couple of weeks back another member 'Reena Khatri' (if Im not wrong) was banned and I had asked the same question then too. I happened to look into all her previous posts and found nothing derogatory.
I think we can have a thread running on some forum here stating the reasons from the moderators as to why people are getting banned from JL.

You know, you owe us this. Let us just avoid retaliation. Please help us all with this confusion.

Sumit Bhai, i had a word with Reena Khatri and she is more than happy with the ban... What say now ? :)
