If you are working hard and not receiving deserved results ;
LIGHT A DIYA IN THE SOUTH SECTOR OF YOUR LIVING ROOM.
fire is the ruling element of the south which is associated with name , fame and recognition in feng shui .

SUJATA
THIS IS GOOD
Now i can understand why my grandmother
DADI LADOO used to have CHULHA & JOITI on the souh side of the kitchen

thanks a lot sujata ji.....aaj hi main ek candle le aaya hoon aur bas ab kal suraj ke ugne par south direction ka bhi pata chal jaayega....usi ka intezaar hai.....

saket.

Dear simran ,
laughing buddha should be kept facing diagonally opposite to the door .

saket ji,
aap ek directional compass le aaieye , us say direction's ka sahi pata chalega .

thanks sujata ji.....n does it suits everybody...i mean is laughing buddha good for everyone to keep?
n one more ques....yeh wind chimes kahan lagani chahiyen???
regards..
simran

Sujata ji,
Do you beleive in all this seriously. In our college time, we used to have big rooms. We were three people in the same room, everybody with one bed and one table. Fourth person, came in with his bed and table. He insisted on having his bed and table in one specifc direction, which causes problem for rest three. We were suprised when he said about how magnetic field works etc etc. At that time we did not know about VASTU at all.

Sujata Ji....Ram Ram...

Do you have an idea regarding the effectiveness / genuineness of Feng Shui things like laughing Budha etc. Can these be bought from any where ? B'cos, now a days these are available even with roadside vendors. Are these equally effective or are there some specifications involved in making these?

Here my intention is not to hurt anyone ideas or faith....
----------------------------
Brahmin people tadke tadak sooraj ki taraf lota kar ke sooraj ko paani dete hai....Scientifically can sun get that water??? It is individual faith.. that helps him \ her for concentration or acheiving some set or defined goals.

Hali aadmi ne Raat ko khet main paani pe jaane ki kya Zaroorat hai... agar chizoo ko idhar - udhar rakhen se kaam chalta ho to Garahn beth kar khet main paani de liya karo... BTW not an bad idea....

Dear simran,
Apka saval bohot accha hai .vaisay to wind chime log kisi bhi window mai laga letay hai , kyoki wind chime ki awaz say negative energies dooor hoti hai lekin feng shui mai har direction's kay according alag alag wind chime ka lagana bataya gaya hai , for instance north kay liyay 6 rod's ki metal ki wind chime etc . lekin wind chime akar waha lagai jati hai jaha teen darvaze ya khidkiya ek seedh mai ho . aur ha 4 rod's ki wind chime kahi bhi nahi lagani chahiye ye acchi nahi hoti .

Ranvir singh ji ,
vastu koi andh vishvash nahi hai . apka naya room mate south ki taraf apne bed ka back rest karna chahta hoga .
sabko south ki taraf sar karkay sona chahiya yani south ki taraf sar aur paer north ki taraf .
kaha gaya hai "DO NOT SLEEP WITH YOUR HEAD TOWARDS NORTH . THE HEAD OF THE BODY IS THE NORTH, AND , SINCE SIMILAR MAGNETIC POLES REPEL EACH OTHER , IF YOU SLEEP WITH YOUR HEAD TO THE NORTH , THE ELECTRO-MAGNETIC WAVES IN YOUR BODY WILL GET DISTORTED AND LEAD TO DISTURBED SLEEP AND ILL HEALTH" .
aap isay aazma kar dekh saktay hai .

aur ha dear simran laughing budda kisi ko suit na kare aisa kabhi sunney mai nahi aaya hai .

Sandeep ji raam raam ,
feng shui mai aisa kuch nahi hai ki laughing buddha's ya aur cheeze kisi particular material kay hi hone chahiye .
jaisay north mai aqvarium accha rehta hai to aqvarium hi rakkha jai ye zaroori nahi hai us disha mai hum pani ki tasveer bhi laga saktay hai.
direction's kay according hum kisi bhi particular cheez ki image ko use kar saktay hai . isliyay vo pavement's par bikne vale laughing budda's bure nahi hai.
par laughing buddha's jo ki gifted ho jyada acchay rehtay hai . hum laughing buddha's kay different poses ghar mai rakh saktay hai par ek ghar mai 9 say jyada laughing nahi rakhne chahiye .

thanks sujata ji for ur valuable information....this science really seems to be just too interesting....
jald hi phir koi sawaal le kar aaongi...
regards
simran

Thanks for your time and inputs Sujata Ji... One more question : Can laughing Budha be placed anywhere in the house or there are certain specific locations for this also!!!!

Thanks once again...

Sandeep ji,
Laughing buddha's apne living room kay southeast sector mai rakkhe or it can be placed facing diagonally opposite to the door .

Sujata,
After reading your posts on feng shui, i have decided to take a short class in feng shui to know more about this interesting subject.
I read somewhere that architects world over are increasingly consulting feng shui experts
while designing buildings. It is more of a status symbol these days because of the flexibility required during designing buildings. Could you please go over the basic science behind Feng shui- although you have already talked a little bit about effects of earth's magnetic field. Thankyou '''
