Greeting to all.
Congratulations to all JL members. Finally, EC gave nod to Generel sahab appointment.
Lately, I was quite busy just came back to JL today saw a big hoopla on general sahab appointment in various threads. I admire the concern of all for first JAT general. I got a reason to celebrate it as we got first COAS from my community. Err... Hindu JAT community. I forgot some of our brothers on JATLAND got their generals (JAT not Hindu) prior to us. But still they were vociferously advocating for first JAT general. STRANGE!!!
Anyways, one more news to celebrate before 16th. Lets consume 2 more days. We will be having a big reason to celebrate.

I don't know whether it is true or not but I heard from someone that Bikram Singh is a Jatt .
According to this Gen. Bikram Singh is first Jat Sikh Army Chief of India .
Lt. Gen. Dalbir Singh Suhag would be first Jat(Hindu) Army Chief of India .
So we have got 2 back to back Jat COAS.
Gen. Ved Prakash Malik was not a Jat that is sure .. He was a Punjabi.
According to this Gen. Bikram Singh is first Jat Sikh Army Chief of India .

Gen. suhag is the first Jat general (hindu, muslim or sikh), Bikram singh is in soem distant relation with PM MM singh , he is a khatri as far as I know.
Gulia ji..Can you tell who is first jat general ?

Bikram Singh is not related to MM Singh that was a canard spread by vested interests.
Though he is a distant relative of Ahluwalia (Kalal community).
