God's Existence ???

I am always confused with whether God exists or not ???
And if god exists then Ram, Krishan, Hanuman all these are gods ???
Why the same god is appering with different avatar's ???

And above all... Duniya Bananewale kya tere dil mein samayee
Tune kaahe ko duniyaa banayiiii???

What is our real purpose of life ??? Is it just to be a good human being.... grow up... get a good job... behave good to all... get married and then produce kids n then enjoy grandchildren and finally die one day ???

Why am i launched on this earth ?????? HELP HELP HELP !!!

Although i have my own perception but wanna imbibe if get impressing stuff.

Well, God exists or not has always been a 'question unanswered' in precise terms! There are many instances when u tend to feel that such great mechanisms, such great things can happen only when some big force is there to command all this! At some other times, we feel that however hard we tried to seek justice but there is no one who listened to our deeply urged prayers, there is no one in whom we can believe blindly. So, iGod's existence is still a mystery & mysteries dont have a clear cut answer to them !

As regards to what for we live, we are not here to just study, work, earn, marry, have kids, but these are the generally accepted set of things that a human does & i guess this is so because these things are related to the most natural urges that a human has, like urge to get loved, to live comfortably, to have someone there at all times to share happiness & griefs; in a nutshell these are means to survive in a better manner, but life is a lot more. It cant be explained or communicated in words, life is full of innumerable experiences, many a kind of feelings, finding answers to many a questions simultaneously, enjoying many facets of life 7 list is endless ! Life is journey, filled with so many moments and each moment tells us something if we want to hear, so life is making this journey, collecting the jewels of learning, enjoying the colours it shows, and feeling its candidness & lots more still ! :)

Ram, Krishan aur Hanuman bhagwan nahi hain kyonki Bhagwan Ajanma, nirakar, avikar, ajar, amar hai jo ki ye sabhi mahapurush nahi thay
jaise ki Ram bhagwan nahi they apitu Maryada purushottam Ram they yani Pursho ke liye nirdharit maryadyoon ke palan karnay mein sabsay uttam

Well wrote Shweta... but u have written facts of life... like life is a journey and finding solutions to ur question... but this is not my question...
i want to ask... why we are born ?
If u say we are evolved from monkey, scientifically then i got my answer. But if not then bhagwan exists. And if he exists then he is driving this universe. So he has given birth to humans, animals,insects etc etc... Why he has produced us ? Any spl reason or simply without reason.
As per hindu mythology our next current birth is result of our poonya karma of previous births and wthat we do now will decide next birth... that cycle of 84 lakh yoniya...
i just want to know others view... may be some satisfactory ans i will get.

Well i know that this is a wrong place to fire such question as we all are sansarik, koi bade saadhu mahatma(Plz don compare them with those we are discussing in other threads) ho toh ans de sakte hai... par phir bhi aise hi likha.

1. About Existence of God - I'll say its a matter of belief, Those who believe in God, for them God exist, while for the atheists, He doesn't. Scientifically I don't know whether God does Exist or Not...!!!
2. About our own existence... what' s the purpose,,, well I m also on the question side,,, who wants to know the answer.

May I ask members as to what made us think that God can have only male sex ? We are extending our social structure even to the God...isn't it funny? What God can't be a donkey or ant? Unable to answer this, someone will take of Omni presence of God... what a way of overcoming our limited knowledge...

After hearing this debate 100s of times, I feel that it hardly matters whetehr God exists or does not exists... One can spilit his hairs to reach any conclusion on this topic... So just be happy whatever way you want to be...It won't really matter either way.

no sir i am happy and enjoying ... but what i wanted to ask is just that what is the purpose of our life ??? scientifically i know... how life came and no spl purpose... but somehow i am not satisfied with this evolution theory... such a gr8 evolution... soul, rebirth and all, these words always raise a lot of question in my mind.

Suppose, god exist... and ram, krishan, vishnu they all are gods then there should be some motto behind our birth... there shud be some spl reason behind it. Why a lot of ppl turn to sadhus(not the dhongi)... y shastra says the last padav of our life shud be sanyasi(search of god)...
some ppl can be dhongi... but i have seen intellectual mass, scientists and lot more to solve this question... so is this all true ... whether they achive their goal or simply an illusion???

Once swami vivekanand asked Paramhans Swami RamKishan.. have u seen god... and he replied yes... ????????????????

To me life is like a rope tied with two nails. The two nails are life and death on which we hardly have any control. Now comes the rope or string whatever one wants to call it. WE can use this string either for creating music or for hanging our dirty cloths..Its all upto us what way we use our life. There are no set rules.. Do what makes u feel happy and contended..Thats the only aim of life..

for me god is truth demon is lie.truth can be in any form ,in a child's innocent smie,in mom's unselfish love or a stranger helping a stranger without any personal interest.I blieve in god but do not believe in ram,vishnu because i have never seen them and partially due to my arya samaj sanskars.to me god is a feeling of goodness,kindness and forgiveness.
 
This question has been asked many a times on this portal and i had my quest always in front of me like a big challenge.No answer could satisfy me because all answers seemed too far away from logic.I read so many books,searched net and asked many-2 people but to no avail.Finally answer emerged from deep inside my own soul and i am fully satisfied with that answer and as such has made that conclusion the basic MANTRA of my life and it is working fine with me with no curiosity troubling me any more.

My questions were;

1] If a human being has no purpose on this planet except suffering,reproducing,earning,spending and then dying........then what purpose these plants,trees and animals have here...they are more purposeless than us THE HUMAN BEINGS?

Answer my soul gave me:Animals and plants are not capable of thinking,Only animals have a small thinking power and that too is confined to a very restricted natural course of routine life.God made them for specific purpose and as such they come,live,serve[without any question asked or a crib] and die.It is with the Human beings that they are capable of questioning the creation of God because God blessed them with all virtues Except the control on time and of course the death.In other word he equipped human beings with great powers of thinking with which they could not only sustain and enjoy their lives but can behave responsibly towards other hapless creatures around us.He gave us many purposes to live...like he made partners,he gave flowers,eats,grass,water,air,fire,beauty,ugliness,sun,moon,stars,nights,days metals,coal,oil,fuel,children,education,money......many things for that matter to give us the broader purpose of taking birth,enjoying nature,growing up,enhancing knowledge,adulthood,marriage,children,success,failures,sufferings,happiness,disappointments,work to earn our livelihood...so on and so forth.....all was for a purpose..NOTHING IS WITHOUT A PURPOSE OUT HERE.So even still we are confused than it is horrible.


Suppose we are told not to move our limbs and just eat and sleep.....What will be the life? It will be a hell.So purpose is very clear;

Come on this earth,Grow in thinking,seek additional responsibility,contribute in making this planet a better place to live for other living beings,leave something behind of your KARMA so that others can be grateful to you after you have gone.


WORK HARD,BE A GOOD HUMAN BEING,SEEK RESPONSIBILITY,HELP THE LIVING BEINGS,LEARN MAXIMUM,SHARE KNOWLEDGE WITH OTHERS,FINALLY DEPART HAPPILY TO A PLACE NOT KNOWN TO YOU BUT IN THE LIGHT OF YOUR GOOD DEEDS YOU WILL HAVE THE SATISFACTION OF NOT CARRYING A GUILT FROM HERE.
 
I thought i will try to put my views on what i feel about god ....but after going though all the replies I feel its already answered well.
For me God is my strength, my faith and my bestfriend....As a child i used to see my god as a small kid who plays with me...and as I grow I visualise my god to be growing with me everyday.....I do blv that God is there and I look at my god in the shape which fascinates me. I do have a name and I feel that its no harm if I call my god by some name...... For me he is the one who have all the qualities which makes the life more beautiful and meaningful. He is there and I feel my God every now and then when I do something good and I find my god with me when I need strength to stand. God is the goodness in your soul. For me what is important is not the fact what God is or what God is capable of but what matters to me is that my faith in god makes me a good human being.

Dear All

I think God is creation of man and not that God created this universe. Can be argued at length . the concept of God has been changing from very early times according to the requirement of human beings. Science is always relative it can not be ever absolute. Grey areas where we canot explain things scientifically bring in concept of God. I think most of the things can be explained on bases of matter.

A perennial question but no perennial answer..everybody will have their own way of thinking and perception..you just need to accept whatever you think is best and wait for your death to see next level of this stage..

Though I keep on thinking about the question and my answers keep on changing, for now I can put forward one idea :)

Life is like a Video game - There are lots of stages of your life and you goto next stage only after completing the previous stage. God has created an environment in each stage and you need to discover all required things in that stage, fight with all the blocks and then goto the Exit door to goto next level. Similar to a Video game, there are hidden gems/points which you need to find out by discovering which help you gain points for next stage (ex. - good deeds, meditation, etc.). If you fail at a specific level, you will have to take rebirth and start afresh again. You will have some experience from your previous birth in an unconscious form which you will use for second try. So just like a game, you need to use various things available to you, get some new things, fight the destructive forces and try to live n reach the exit gate. Once you clear all stages, you will win the game, attain Moksha and join God who is creator of this game.

Now, the question is why God or that Superpower created this game of life? Answer is - just for fun..just like we create Video games..Its one of his way of timepass..afterall what else does he have to do?

The second question is - what are the other stages? Its all the game of dimensions..the next level is a bit difficult than previous one and is in a higher dimension..We are in 3rd dimension and our ancestors in other dimensions unless they failed on earth and took rebirth :) I can go on & on over this concept but I hope you got my idea..just match your life totally with a Video game and it will all look really similar..I will come up some other idea if it strikes !!

Yeah this is one which matches with my mentality... i too feel the same but never interpreted video game this way but my approach is also much close to this

I really never believed in this scientific logic that Humans are evoled from monkeys....If we really did then WHY MONKEYS ARE STILL THERE? Or was it some Nature's maufacturing or Evolutionary Defect that some changed into monkeys and some didn't so the answer may come like this- Those who tried harder became human and those who tried less remained- MONKEYS/CHIMPANZEE/BABOON etc.? But isn't it illogical?
