This is Bheemtal, chatri of Maharaja Bheem Singh Rana of gohad, it was build by Maharaja Chhatar Singh Rana after his conquest of the Gwalior fort, it was clicked by me on one of my trips to the Gwalior fort.

The Rani did not fight the Maratha beacuse, they would have not killed her, instead would have capture her alive in accordance to trade with the Rana, who was 'alive' and was out of the fort due some secret task.

Rani laxmi bai is a totally different scenario, her king was dead, her kingdom was snatched by the british and no one in the whole country had intention to help her, die fighting was her only option[m not accusing the great lady, she was sure as valiant as a lioness]

but the Jat Rani is a different case
she knew that Maratha will not kill her at all
and she choose death instead of seeing her king surrender to Maratha in order to save her

It seems to be a good specimen of remains of the Jat architecture of the yore. Friend did you find any inscription on the site. If yes, it would further help us in illuminating the pages of history of the Ranas fo Gohad.

लगता है की आपने कहानी ठीक से पढ़ी नहीं
गोहद के राणा जाट परम वीर थे
वे भी चाहते तोह भाग सकते थे
पर वे 600 अपनी रानी की शुरक्षा व आन के लिए 50,0000 की सेना के सामने डेट रहे
आखरी दम तक, जब दुर्ग पर lite एंड sound शो मे किले का इथिहस सुनाया जाता है
तोह जट्टरानी के जोहर का ज़िक्र आता है, आज भी सुन के हमारी छात्ती चोडी हो जाती है

अगर रानी उनके हाथ हाथ लग जाती तोह जानते है वे रानी के साथ क्या बेसलुकी करते ?
खैर छोडिये, ये जोहर कायरनामा नहीं था ये अपनी आन और मर्यादा के खातिर हुवा था
और ये भारत इतिहास का दूसरा जोहर है

रानी लक्ष्मी बाई भी इन कुत्ते सिन्धियाओ ने ही मरवाई थी, दोखे से!

Thank you Sir, as far as i remember nothing as such an inscription came into my notice, i believe you might find some in the Gohad fort.
