That was restoration of public transport, why common people suffers?. No doubt, people have rights to protest for their demands but it should be a peaceful demonstration, not violent and anti general public. I am appreciating Govt. of Haryana step forward for all weaker section of the society, reservation and opportunities for all needy people, not based on caste and community.

The "secret" appointment process of three State
Information Commissioners in Haryana has raised eyebrows. As per its own
admission, the state government did not follow specific directions of the Punjab
and Haryana High Court regarding the appointment process.

In response to an application under the RTI Act, the state authorities have
admitted that the Punjab and Haryana High Court had directed the government to
constitute a search committee and advertise the posts of Information
Commissioner vide C.W.P. No. 11846/2011.

The RTI reply revealed that the government did constitute a search committee
but the posts were not advertised despite the court directions.

The Department of Information, Public Relations and Cultural Affairs
categorically stated that it had not been asked to insert any advertisement(s)
in this regard.

"The exercise (of selection) was carried out secretly obviously to favour
certain persons. As per the government's own admission, only 17 candidates
applied for the three coveted posts," says Subhash, state coordinator of the
Haryana Soochna Adhikar Manch, who had sought the said information from the
office of the Chief Secretary.

The search committee comprising Chief Secretary PK Chaudhery, Kurukshetra
University Vice-Chancellor DDS Sandhu and Financial Commissioner-cum-Principal
Secretary Sarban Singh held a meeting to consider the candidature of 17
aspirants for the posts.

As per the RTI reply, the committee recommended the names of nine of the 17
applicants to the selection committee. These included Jagbir Singh Kundu, Manik
Sonawane, Sajjan Singh, Hemant Kumar Sharma, Shyama Dogra, Gurjot Mallahi, Rajiv
Sharma, M.P. Bansal and Rajesh Jindal. Most of these happen to be former IAS,
IPS or defence officers.

At a meeting of the selection committee held on August 30, 2012, Haryana
Education Minister Geeta Bhukkal proposed the name of PR Meena, IPS, who was
retiring the very next day.

Leader of the Opposition Om Prakash Chautala, also a member of the selection
committee, objected to the move, stating that Meena's name had not even been
recommended by the search committee.
However, Chautala's objection notwithstanding, Meena was appointed
Information Commissioner. The third member of the selection committee was Chief
Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda.

न्यु ना कहो रे बुड्ढे ने , बीचारा कई साल तें भुप्पि कि चप्पल चाटन लागर्या स , अपणा छोरा लुवान्न का मार्या | बेड़ा ना भुप्पि इह कि कद सुनेगा ? लाइओ रे इह कि कोये सिफारिश | ना ते फेर अगली बारियाँ इह ने चौटाला कि चप्पल चाटनि पड़ेंगी | ढीम किते का |
