Dear Friends:
For a considerable period of time I had an impression in mind that most of the politicians are very arrogant and worth nothing, but then I happened to meet Deepender Hooda, an active member of Jatland and a new entrant in the lok sabha. After a short meeting I felt that he is a kind of person our nation needs in the near future. Very down to earth and humble like his father and unlike most other politicians in the state of Haryana. The youngest MP from our community and so simple. Amazing and Wonderful. Also see the margin with which he won, more than 2 lacs.
I hope that he will try to come up to the expectations of the youth and set an example for the future aspirants who want to serve the nation. We all must wish him good luck for the near future, so that young people like him, especially from our community, could contribute in the development of the nation.

Great..

Congratulation deepender

Its really a proud for our community and also for Rohtak People.
A young,Educated & Modern politician was demand of the time for Haryana & Haryana Politics.
This is real chance for Depender to prove himself and to do something remarkable about the main problem of the Area i.e illitrecy & unemplyment which he might have seen in the rural area during his Election Compaign.

Wish him a very good luck for Future

Withyou

Congrats and wishing you all the best for your Political Career.Do take care of Rural people and specially Rohtak belt has supported so many leaders but nobody has done good to Rohtak. It is expected from you as a Memebr of Parliament and support of Haryana CM you can develop Rohtak into another Gurgaon. I belong to Rohtak but working at Jaipur. I have seen in last one year the change has come to jaipur interms of new industries and as per latest survey now all Industries are moving to smaller cities including software. Toyota is looking for new location for plant and if this can be taken as a project to bring plant of Toyota to Rohtak then this will be the best gift to Rohtak constituency and its people.Remember one Maruti changed tha face of Gurgaon.

It's relatively easy to win elections if one is well connected/economically well-off. Looks like Depeender has several new friends now since he has become MP from Rohtak! The main thing they have in common with Deepender is their membership in Jatland.com!

Mr Sumit Dahiya,

I wish it was that easy to contest and win elections. If it was that easy then at least 100 Bar Girls from Mumbai would have been MPs because they have both the qualifications you've mentioned, they are very well connected and are economically very sound.

I don't undrstand your sarcasm towards members who have congratulated Mr Deepender Hooda. There are many here who may be related to him (I am not) or have known his grandfather or have had family ties. You have displayed the gratest weekness of our 'Kaum' by writing what you wrote. And the weekness is not feeling happy when others do well. If you don't want to congratulate him, don't, but negative comments from someone as educated as you are beyond logic and disturbing.

Regards,

JS Malik

He needs to be congratulated and not humiliated

Dear All, if we can not appriciate something good like this[may be by habit or design...God knows] let us not redicule him.Why we take a dig at each and everything is beyond my grasp.Atleast once in a while even most negatives of people talk good [even if they don't mean good inside] for the happiness of others.Depender is a young lad and he has tasted success early......May be he got some backings from his well established political base but still it is he[Mr Depender] who will represent Rohtak in parliament...like it or lump it. As regards to whether he does something meaningful for the people[who have lifted him to sky] should be left to him...if he does,he will be rewarded time and again in the shape of his re-election and if not then nothing new as many of them have represented this consituency in past and did nothing...so one more will be added to the kitty. Notwithstaning the above i wish Depender best of luck and happy landing! God speed!

Dear friends i am a new entrant to jatland and glad to be a part of this site. first of all my warm wishes to all who are maintaining this site.
jats across the globe are doing well in various fields. primarily our community was active in agriculture related areas but now we can also boast of having done good in all fields under the sun.
jat as a community is a family duly connected through relations and relatives and has proven its strong bonding and has adhered to the moral values.
very few can claim to have pure blood and jats are one of them.the changing social values and modernisation have not been able to change our opinion, our customs, our life style.
now coming to the youngest MP part i would like to say that there are about 520 Member Parliamentarians of Loksabha and that too of the largest democracy of the world. to come in the list of MP's is itself a big thing and that through by election from the heart of jats ROHTAK.i am not sure how many of you are aware but this particular district rohtak of haryana is basically consisting of jats.the oldest and the largest educational institution of jat community is also in rohtak from where many of us are having their education. so representing such a place itself is an achievement. instead of saying anything positive or negative for Mr.Deepender Hooda would be too early. give him some time to perform. the people of rohtak are the same who had defeated the tallest leader of jats, Ch.DEVILAL, not only of haryana but India also, three times in a row.and needless to mention it was the present chief minister who defeated Ch.Devilal and who happens to be father of deepender hooda.
jat is revengeful as ever and they never forgive and forget the wrong doers.
as of now he is MP from rohtak and is our brother and part of our jat family.
so friends let us wish good luck to all who are doing well in our community and support them in any way we can.we all individually can make difference to the lives of very few persons but a MP can change the fate of thousands, this we must keep in mind before giving any opinion for Mr.Deepender hooda.

hi guys,
its very enjoyable crticising ppl while sitting in front of television sets and in public....i don deny the fact that we don have a right to that but being a resposible citizen even criticism should be constructive in a way......why so many guesses, also when battle is yet to be started.......let Deepender have his honest chance to prove his worth......
negative comments signify negativity of thought..........jiske bas ka jitna hai usko kar lene do.........kundu bhai and dahiya bhai .....hope u r listening......n how r we concerned bout the no of posts one has posted......jisko jo accha lagega woh wahi likhega........its better to shed this petty feeling against the man who is trying hard and have jumped into a struggle which will go on for ages now.........LOT MANY WISHES TO DEEPENDER .......hope he ll not let this chance move out from his hands n wud considerably contribute for the development of rohtak.
ek baat aur meri bhi bas 14th post hai..........any comments ?????:) no of posts doesnt show the gravity of concern i guess......one shd have genuinty in one's concern.....thats all !!!

We do hope - he remains the same - and come up to the expectations of one and all!

I also wonder, if he could restrain himself from being a typical "Netaji" - after spending some time in this 'business' :) . Let us wait and watch!!

He do have a golden chance to prove himself!!

Congrats to Deepender!!

There is no sarcasm here. I don't know how well connected/well off bar girls of mumbai are and how good a reputation they have as I have had no contact with them. But I will take your word for it.
The whole timeline of events intrigues me though, correct me if I am wrong. First Depeender got married, then a marriage gone bad, a court case - he goes to US to study and works there while during all this time his case is pending in court, the case is dismissed and a little time after that he returns and contests the Rohtak election. These are all his personal matters though.
Still one has to be well off and have good connections to win elections. Take the case of Naveen Jindal - the industralist - how did he win? Father's money and connections. A not so well off honest, upright person with little or no connections will have very hard time winning any election.

I really appreciate the congratulations as well as the the criticisms by all those who posted in this thread.
At the moment I can only say this, I would humbly try to do my best as per all but limited capabilities that I have. Hopefully I'll succeed in a few initiatives, and maybe I'll fail in a few others; hopefully I'll come close to meeting expectations, or maybe I won't - but one thing that I can say for sure today is that I won't fall short of trying hard with my best intentions and with every bit of energy that I possess.

In case any of you have any suggestions/criticisms/comments for me at anytime, please drop in a line at deepender@yahoo.com.

Many thanks,
Deepender

Well Deepender
I want to congratulate you first. Here I want to say something that lakhs of people has chosen you with the hope that you will do certainly good and I think you will come true to the expectation of those people. Here I am going to suggest you something about the biggest problem which is harrasing lot of talented person in haryana. There are lot of changes nedded in recruitment agencies in haryana such as HPSC and SSB. Which have no rules and regulations. Due to these loo poles in system many uncapable person are selected based on there either political power or Money matters and which spoil the department wherever they go, may be in some school ( WHICH SPOIL THE FUTURE OF THOUSAND OF CHILDERN SPECIALLY IN RURAL AREAS). I think you will do something in this regard.

I agree with most of members that we shouldn't speculate about our young MP's peformance right now and criticize.... as some said I agree that winning might be easy if someone is from political background, rich and has connections... but just because somebody won easily doesn't mean he is not right chioce... judgement should be based only on acts... and he has time to prove and we should support him in our good will...
I am happy that Deepender is Jatland member and might be reading all this. Its very nice if he is accessible to common man's voice and very beneficial if thoughts of well educated Jats in this website are given atleast some consideration by Deepender who is in position to do a lot!!!!!

Wasse deepender bhaiya, congrats... meethai-veethai khilao bhai...:-))))

Aapne kaha ki "jisko jo achha lagega wo wahi kahega" fer itni lambi ramkahani likhne ki kya jarurat thi...............all i was trying to say is ki itna mat chadhao Deepender ko uske par nikal aayen..neway

I personally dont think he has jumped into a struggle n trying hard enough rite now.Samay Bara Balwaan hota hai bebe ..........aage aage dekhiye hota hai kya..........

Raha post ki ginti ka sawaal ........to baat seedhi si hai.........achanak hawa me se aake agar aap kisi ki bematlab badhai karoge to aisa hi hoga. Let him prove hoimself fir main aap logon ke saath lagke praise karunga.but eebai pehlai kyun chaand main chadha rahe so usnai..........

Bhai Kundu,

Kaya haal chal hai dost? Deepender se kuchh jyada hi khapha lagate ho.

I know that you have been a supporter of Abhimanyu and nothing wrong in that. Lekin sistachar ke nate Sayad Abhimanyu ne bhi Deepender ko congratulate kar diya hoga. Aap se to yaar itna bhi nahi hua ki do sabad badhai ke hi bol dete.

Waise Abhimanyu bhi bahut hi pada likha aur nek insan hai. Inka IPS mai bhi chunav hua tha lekin join nahi kiya. So, no doubt even he would have been a good MP. Mujhe personally sayad Abhimanyu ke jitne par bhi utni hi khusi hoti, kyoki mere pariwar ke logno ne pichhle election mai usse hi support kiya tha.I m not sure of this election. Lelin Aaj ke halat mai Deepeder was a better option for the people of Rohtak.

Deepender ji Aapse bhi ek vintee hai. Please do not ignore the the healthy criticism. Kabir ka ek doha mujhe yaad nahi aa raha, lekin bhav yahi hai "Nindak Maa aur guru se bhi bada sikshak hota hai hai. Hope you take the criticism of some of the mmebers also in right spirit.

kundu bhai,
aapne likha ki kisi ko itna mat chadaho ki uske par nikal aaye.......i don agree with that .......Deepender is not a kid or a teenager who ll get fascinated by the words being said by ppl on this platform......rather being a responsible citizen he might take this all as a motivation and inspiration to do wonders.
Aur haan bhai, i still don agree with the second statement of urs ki" hawa main se aakar bematlab badhai"......bematlab badhai kahan se hui when we all know there is a reason infact a very good reason to congratulate him on his success.......
There is no use discussing all irrelevant stuff but to encourage him to prove his worth. I appreciate the statement "samay bada balwaan hota hai ".....no doubt bout that............so lets wait n watch instead of giving judgements based on pre-conceived notions.

Question of Criticism comes when a person given a chance and proved fail.
A person can not be declared fail without apperaring in Exam.

So let us hope for Poisitive & hope for the best for our community.
And also well said ' samay bada Balwan '
