I really appreciate the congratulations as well as the the criticisms by all those who posted in this thread.
At the moment I can only say this, I would humbly try to do my best as per all but limited capabilities that I have. Hopefully I'll succeed in a few initiatives, and maybe I'll fail in a few others; hopefully I'll come close to meeting expectations, or maybe I won't - but one thing that I can say for sure today is that I won't fall short of trying hard with my best intentions and with every bit of energy that I possess.

In case any of you have any suggestions/criticisms/comments for me at anytime, please drop in a line at deepender@yahoo.com.

Many thanks,

Dear All

I think question of criticism comes when a person given a chance and proves to be fail.
How a person can be declared fail without appearing in Exam. So lets think positive and hope for the best .

And also well said ' Samay Bada Balwan' & politics of our Haryana is different.

'Ar bhai Rohtak ke Jat to ise hai jinne Ch.Devilal jise great leader jinko Record votes se jitaya ar Depty PM tak Pahuchaya unko agli teen bar hara bhi diya.'

So Deepender Bhai ' Satta(Govt) Sukh Bhogne ke liye nahi balki logon ki seva ke liye hoti hai' & we hope you will prove it.

Thanks & Regards to all

Our people are really great. This reminds me of a personal incident which I never seem to forget. I happened to top the university in BSc(Hons). I was the first ever boy from Shamli area to do that. Most members of college management and principal went to attend convocation when I was awarded various merit certificates. Convocation was over and not a single member of my college management had a word of appreciation for me. President of the management could not even raise his hand to put on my head and give his blessings. Trust me, it hurts me till this day. I remain the only person to hold the honour of topping the university from RK Degree College Shamli till this day. College never thought it appropriate to felicitate me in any manner. May be our people do not know the art of appreciation.

Now coming to present case of Deepender. Compare the response to this thread with a girl joining the site and the type of welcome she often gets. Deepender has not even attended a single session of parliament and some friends have already started passing the judgements. Do people understand what sort of damage such posts do to the moral of a young man?

Now coming to performance of an MP. May I ask hon'ble members to name few MPs whom they consider the best and most competent and with whom members would like Deepender to be compared while evaluating his performance? Take it from me; he will not let you be disappointed. Finally, its you and we who have to ensure that he succeed in his mission. His failure should be taken as Jatland’s failure. So let us all join hands with him and work for a great cause.

And finally, have we asked ourselves as to how we can help him to achieve his objectives of helping the community?
How about a Jatland felicitation to him?

Bhai Deepender,
Khushee ka to koi thikana na hai. Jab bhee koi JAT kisi achhee jagah deekhe hai to seena chooda ho ja hai.
Bahut umeed apse bhee nahee hai, Kyon kee post miln ke baad sab eak jaise ho ja hai.
Par Deepender bhai, Mane Eaik baat kahnee hai jo sabne pata bhee hove hai, Bhai ye post sabne na miltee hai, Jo aaya hai , usko jana bhee hota hai. Rahta hai to karam, jiskee bajeh se baad mai bhee log yaad karte hai.
Par mere bhai, kuchh eaisa kar do jis se jaton ka sar asman chhoo jai.

Bhai kuchh galat likh diya ho to,
Chhota Bhai samajh ke maaf kar dena.

Ram Ram Bhai.

Logo ko badbadane ki adat hoti hai.. aise hi badbadate rehenge.. don't need to be worried... Let them do their job...

Hamse kisi ki safalta hajam nahi hoti hai isliye hum apni faliure ko chupane ke liye dusro maie kamiya dundte rehte hai..

BTW I think, to welcome the criticisms and thanks to the appreciations are the basic characteristics of a successful person. And I am sure Deepnder will accept them in positive way.

As Hamendre has said that insaan ko uske karam ke liye hi jana jata hai , pooja jata hai… so Deepnder also should try his best to come out from the expectation. We know that he can not root out every problem of the Rohtak but if he will try honest in his ability then he definitely will be respected by Janta with foolmala otherwise the public of Rohtak will teach him lesson in next election…
So at least hope that he will not be counted in the list of other leaders who have been enjoying such type of posts in their own interests…

Best of luck to Deepender in his mission..

All the best. Some big words from a Dylan song but worth remembering in the virtuous and vicious circle of politics- Courage, Truth, Righteousness, strong and upright.

Dear Kundu Ji,
Here we are linked not with the aim of our personel linkages to diferent parties but as people finding ways to do something for our society. Atleast appreciate that one of younger generation Jat has reached a place which governs our country and atleast by that we can appreciate and give respect toDeepender JI. Let's not criticise for the sake of criticising but use this oppurtunity and put some Ideas to Depinder ji so that we can see wisdom in your thoughts. Hope you take it positively.

just a view regarding AJAY Pal's Message about Dipender Hooda

i don't agree at all with the pride Ajay Pal Dhanda has shown for dipender Hooda winning te electoins with a margin of 2 lacs. The exact count was 2 lac 30 thousand which is actually no big deal for a "Sitting Chief Minister's SON" contesting the electoins. it s not him buthis father who has managed these votes... and we all know how easy it must have been to manage these vote in theprsent Scenario...
I have not met dipender Hooda so don't know how daown to earth is he but yes his father is definately not a down to earth sort of a person.

From your above observation, it would be safe to assume that you have met his father. Might be you can educate us on your observations. What do you think a down to Earth person should look like or appear to look like? Might be you can list the names of some down to Earth politicians as well to help us understand your observation.

swati ji, what bout the pride with which u mentioned bout ur dad in the post "FAMOUS JAT PERSONALITIES" ...... Ch Bharat Singh......(let ppl judge and say something bout him ...it wud be more appropriate i guess) we wud definitely like to know what all he did for the community and is doing at present. should u don mind please also mention about the no of times he was elected as member of parliament and with how much margin. As far as "down to earth " factor is concerned how can an individual who lacks certain basic qualities of humbleness beat Ch. Devi Lal Ji thrice ( famous jat personality).
I guess u didnt read the whole stuff, in brief let me tell u that it is about the youngest ever jat MP elected to the Parliament from our community......and its a matter of pride for even a small kid of our community.
INSTEAD OF DISCOURAGING AND CRITICIZING.......FOLLOW SOME CONSTRUCTIVE APPROACH AND LEARN TO PRAISE PPL OTHER THAN UR CLOSED ONES........

I want to drag your attention to a prolonged awaited public tasks where you can put your efforts -----

Rohtak - Jhajjar - Rewari RAILWAY LINE.

You should fight for it and get it done within your this tenure only ... I think this time there should be no problem in this task as in Centre also there is Congress and here in Haryana aapni sae ...

Lag jya bhai kaam pe jor shor te .....Er haan ek baat .... Be approachable always.

Reply To Diksha

Diksha, it was only after i read the names of Bhupender Singh hooda and Devi Lal Etc. in teh list that i sent Ch. Bharat singh's name. he was elsected 4 times as a councellor of delhi, last term being in 1984 when he was reuested by the party workers to contest for the Lok Sabha Elections. i say it with so much pride because he did not rquest for a ticket like pepople do these days but was offered. after winning the 1984 elections he was reqeusted by Rajiv Gandhi to go to Sikh riot strikken area to calm down the situation. u were probably too young that time to realise all this. it is only now, when it is only corrupt politics rules that he isnotvery active cause he cannot be like one of them.
as far as the details of what all he did for the community is concerned i would surely ask him to give me the details as i didn'ythnk it was important till not. butyes now it is important i will surely post it here.
i wan't discouraging the young man, but definately don't think he is worth all the praise he is getting now. wonder wat made this leader and people's person ever go abroad to work and then give up his job for better prospects in India as his fater wanted hom to contest elections.... wat a pity...
WOULD DEFINATELY PRAISE OTHER THAN MY CLOSE ONES ONLY IF FIND THEM WORTH MY PRAISE...
TAKE CARE...

Congratulations!!!

Heartiest Congratulations to Deepender!!!

Every educated Indian, whether living in India or abroad, has very high hopes from young and educated parliamentarians like him. I am sure he will try his best to live up to their expectations. Although, I understand there are a lot of constraints and political obligations an MP has to work with/around but so long as he tries his best, people will appreciate his efforts.

In past, I never have had much faith in our political system but the entry of so many young, educated, and forward thinking people in the parliament has brought a whiff of fresh air thus giving me a totally new perspective and a lot of hope.

Very Best Wishes

The Real Test For Youngest Jat In Lok Sabha

Dear Friends,

There is no doubt that It is a matter of pride and honour for Jats that dear Deepender has entered in Lok Sabha so early.

I have read the opinions in favour as well as against the youngest MP. I believe that it is too early to jump to conclusions while criticising him. Atleast he deserves a full term to show his skills and the novalities that he shall be bringing in Indian Politics.

However, the real test would be if he can avoid the tag of being a Jat Leader only. It remains to be seen how he reacts while dealing with masses of other communities. I wish he is not going to let the issue of Jats v/s Non Jats sneak into his politics.

As far as Hon'ble Chief Minister is concerned, he is doing is best and in his short tenure till date several of his policies deserve an applause for being in the benefit of public. He needs a full term too before attracting applause/criticism.

I wish both of them good luck.

Thanks & Regds.

My dear Vivek,

I am amazed at this kinda statements.........JAT/NONJAT. To me it appears more of a political statement and is in bad taste. Why we have to say this always.Don't we have that JAJBA OF HUMANITY in us. IT is ....either we love the HUMAN BEINGS or don't do it. YES why not if he is a JAT blood...why not look after the interest of jats also...why we feel ashamed of calling ourselves JATS[why this thheka of secularism is taken by jats.....isn't it a complex?]..........IT is a fact that DEPENDER is a MP Largely because of JATS as they stood by Hooda family. Please don't leave these gulible JATS to fend for themselves after the votes have been cast in the name of secularism. Why we become Psudo-secularist immediately after the election? WHO says that Don't look after other Brothrens....please do so by all means and Be just and fair in your dealings but let us salute our jat brothers and sisters who made a difference in placing them where they are right now. I maintain that Depender needs encouragement and proper advisors and not MAUKA PRASATH people around him and also he needs time to prove WHAT HE IS? It is not the people but the politicians who have let down these brave jats. I once again would like to wish MP saheb all the best!

Politics And Secularism

Dear Dev,

Perhaps my post conveyed a different message.

Just to explain you further that this issue of Jat or Non Jat has sneeked into haryana politics and acts as a parasite where the general public face the music most of time. I was not making a political statement or trying to be against any community.

Whatever I had written was what I expect from dear Deepinder. Ofcourse, Jats need special attention and should be preferred. At the same time I expressed my fear that others may not feel neglected.......And this tag of Jat/Non-Leader is glued mostly by selfish politicians for their own benefits.

My First Post was for wishing dear Deepinder Good luck. While encouraging him, I also posted a word of caution. It should not be misunderstood.

Concluded !

Warm Regds.

My dear Vivek bhai,

Tone of your previous post was a bit cautious and rightly so.I am aware of the delicate balance of Haryana politics and thus is of the opinion that any person on the helms of affair needs to be guided by local enviornment and ofcourse by THE CONSCIENCE [which is Godly and as such should never be compromised while dealing with public]. Jats are generally misunderstood people and are put on the centre stage easily by some crafty manupulators. Thanx for your rejoinder dear.

Deepender Hooda visits constituency to thank voters
Tribune News Service

Titoli (Rohtak), October 9
Just a week after his election to the Lok Sabha, Mr Deepender Hooda is back in his constituency to thank the voters. He held a late evening meeting at his ancestral village Sanghi yesterday. He followed this up with a whistle-stop tour of seven other villages today. Despite being dubbed a political greenhorn, he is already indicating that he wants to play the political game in his own style rather than stay ensconced under the larger than life shadow of his father Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda.

Before beginning his tour he had a meeting with senior district officers to seek details of the ongoing development projects initiated by his father in the area before the campaign for the parliamentary byelection began. The bureaucracy had a taste of the things to come when he took them by surprise on many issues through his probing queries. This was followed by another meeting with his campaign managers and Congress workers who apprised him of the problems and requirements of the villages in his vast constituency.

This morning beginning his day at Sunderpur he was informed that the work on the village road had been stalled for many weeks. Mr Hooda was quick to react. He queried the officials concerned on his mobile phone and was assured that the road would be completed in two weeks. He informed the villagers in turn about it and asked the sarpanch to inform his about the progress on the project in 10 days so that if there were any likely delays he could sort out the issues.

At Titoli the villagers told him that the work on laying pipelines for water supply had been held up because the department concerned had not yet accorded its sanction. He went to a corner of the dais and spoke to the Chief Minister’s OSD, Mr M.S. Chopra, and requested him to contact the head of the department immediately and let him know when the sanction could be expected. The response came five minutes later – the pipes would be purchased within a week and delivered to the village.

It was the same story in rest of the six villages he toured today. In every village he begged to be excused from making a speech because he said he had come to thank them for electing him and to tell them it was time now that “you ask me and I deliver”. He promised that he would be available to his constituents all the time and that he would ensure that the Rohtak Lok Sabha constituency became an “example for the rest of the country in so far as development was concerned”.

Notably, he was accompanied only by the local Congress leaders and his party workers. Unlike the two sons of former Chief Minister Om Prakash Chautala, he chose not to flaunt his political status by keeping the siren blaring escort and pilot vehicles out of his cavalcade.
