Jat swabhiman
I agree very much with Vikas Choudhary when he says that such rallies are needed to show the countrymen that we are a sizeable and important part of the Indian milieu.
It is one thing to say we are united and quite another to prove it in deeds. The gujjars have proved they actually are by coming together for a cause - Reservation. We as jats are content that we are a progressive community and hence don't need any reservation. With all regards to our fellow communities, one very good example of a community which has progressed well is Ahirs/Yadavs. They are a progressive community and at the same time enjoy the fruits of reservation in states from Haryana to Bihar including Rajasthan and UP.
We need to bring change at two levels - First at the Individual level where we need to excel and do well in whatever field we are. Second at the community level, when we have already proven to the world and ourselves we are a force to reckon with- we are the best in our fields.
A very good example of such progressive communities are the scots of Scotland and Jews. People swear by the quality and taste of scots. If something is accepted to be of good quality by the scots then it has to be good. The other is jews - who are the bulwark and foundation of the American establishment - be it technical and scientific talentpool or the fine diplomacy of its bureaucrats/diplomats. In fact the jews as a community have won the maximum number of noble prizes any community has won.
Finally in a nutshell - We as a community and as members of a great community need to have faith in and respect for our own community and its people. If we donot have respect for our own community and do not do anything to uplift it, believe me no one would.
Learn -> outperform -> Uplift fellow Jats -> The community progresses
