Gurgaon can be capital

Can Gurgaon has potential to be capital of haryana. every now and then we see that Punjab people say that chandigarh belongs to them.

also for people of rest of haryana, chandigarh is very far.. dont you think that in terms of infra and other facilities, Gurgaon cna be better place for captial of haryana... pls suggest!

Chandigarh......

Bhaisahab.......infrastructure ka teh sabne bera sai......gurgaon kisa sai....:D


arrr rahi chandigarh ke door hon ki baat.....gurgaon bhi teh utna e door padega.....nu thodi sai....gurgaon kati haryana ke bichale me sai....arrr sabne barabar e doori pe padega......

arrr mere khyaal teh chandigarh me koi burai na sai......arrr in punjabia ke chittar marane padenge...dhamkan ki jagha aap teh aapni rajdhani chodan ki baat karoo soo :(....chandigarh teh Haryana ke jata ki rajdhani sai.......:)

हरयाणा पंजाब का यह राजधानी का मसला बहुत पुराना स , हरियाणा पंजाब में आधी राजनीति तो इस राजधानी और पानी को लेकर चलती हैं | एक बार पहले भी इस मसले के चलते पंजाब ने इस चंडीगढ़ के बदले में हरयाणा को अबोहर फाजिल्का दे दिया था | अब अबोहर फाजिल्का ठहरे नरमा का एरिया , यहाँ की ज़मीन बहुत उपजाऊ हैं और रही बात चंडीगढ़ की तो वहा से आमदनी तो दूर निरा खर्चा ऐ स इस राजधानी के रख रखाव पर | सरदार बहुत राजी होए चंडीगढ़ मिलने पर , पर किसे श्याने सरदार के या बात समझ आ गई उसने कहा क्या राजी होते हो " असी मझ देती खोति लेती " मतलब के अबोहर फाजिल्का जैसी भैंस हरियाणा को दे दी और चंडीगढ़ जैसी गधी ले ली | इस पर फेर सरदारों के ध्यान में आई अक यो के कर दिया और वो समझोता करने से मना कर दिया |
 
bhai jis din chandigarh ko capital hata diya us din chandigarh haryana te bhi alag ho ja ga.itne saalon te jut baj raha se chandigarh ke pache aur tu nyuh keh se ki chandigarh ne chor do.gurgaon bina capital bane hi bahut progress kar raha se.usne capital banane ka ghana shok se to usne commercial capital type kuch banwale bhai.aur rahi gurgaon ke paas ya chandigarh ke door hone ki.so kindly explain as to how did u calculate this distance part.gurgaon is not in the centre of haryana.it is in fact much farther from many many places in haryana as compared to chandigarh.

infact the very first time i read this ,i thought immediately that this guy is either from gurgaon or faridabad.then i looked at his profile and i was proved right.dude there are other places apart from faridabad and gurgaon.so dont think from ur perspective only.
 
There is so much dust in Gurgaon, it looks like a radioactive device went off.
It is one noisy, dusty, filthy, hellhole ... and I live there.

Well, whats wrong with Chandigarh? Chandigarh is way better a city than our good ol' Goodgamma...;)

And on a side note, how does it really matter, if a place sucks ..it simply sucks.:D..Look at our national capital (City of djinns), though I love my city but then we all know the inside story (hey reminds me of traffic jam we had, couple of days back, coz it rained cats n dogs...BUT the trouble is "it happens evry year"!!!):rolleyes: Now that begs a question: Are we ready for CWgames next year?
 
There is a diffrent thread for CWG on JL and we seems to be very interested in the games.........
Rahi baat gurgaame ki te........ I think no, it can't be a better capital than Chandigarh.
 
There is no place in India either to compare with Chandigarh be it delhi or any metro cities. Sometime it hurts me that Republic Inidia is not able to build a city like chandigarh till now and I don't think they will even try in future as well.

i have my doubts here.i think delhi is far better than chandigarh...

Been to Gurgaon a lot, and it totally sucks. Nothing but a Concrete Jungle, lifeless! :(

my friend i can also ask u the same question.how come chandigarh better than delhi.first many people who prefer chandigarh over delhi reason that chandifarh is a more peaceful city,less traffic etc than delhi.but then that depends upon individual to individual.i find chandigarh dull.delhi has a lot of development going on still it has maintained a reasonably good umount of area under forest and greenery.public transport is just too good.every point in the city is interconnected.u have buses.autos,cabs connecting every part of the city.now we even have metro which is simply state of the art.its simply amazing.u can go from one part of the city to another in utmost comfort.then u have the best malls in the country present here.u will never fall short of hang outs in delhi that too very decent ones.delhi has the widest roads in the country.now coming to the employment part.chandigarh is not even close to delhi in terms of no. of companies present here.now add gurgaon and noida t o it.and we have the maximum no. of companies in the country.the best schools of this country are in delhi.it boasts of the best hospitals in the country like fortis,escorts,apollo.apart from pvt hospitals we have the best govt hospitals in the country like aiims ,safdurjung,rml etc.gurgaon the most developed city of haryana falls under delhi ncr.more and more development in infrastructure taking place because of common wealth games.we have the maximum no of flyovers and some are simply the best like the aiims,dhaula kuanetc.and the best thing is that being the capital and despite so much development delhi has still not become a concrete jungle like mumbai and gurgaon.delhi even has a rich heritage attached to it-qutab minar,red fort etc etc.the major problem that delhi faced a few years ago was the problem of pollution.but with cng been introduced years back,it has reduced the pollution level considerably.now i dont know where u stayed.but some people just see the old delhi(i m not talking about u here ) and form their opinions.old delhi is just a very small part of delhi.it does not represent it.and we are progressing a lot because of c mon wealth games.those metro links to airport,new flyovers,foot over bridges,development of sports stadiums,land scaping,international standard street lights,modernisation of railway stations on international standards,modernisation of ISBTs will really add to the beauty of this city.i can go on and on but i will restrict myself here

Chandigarh -- Capital City of just 2 state

आप नाराज़ मत हूँ मैं चंडीगढ़ का न सु ...

लेकिन आप ने कोण सी सड़क सबसे खुली देखी से... सेवेर्जे सिस्टम का भांडा तो २ दीं पहलया ई फुत्या से... पानी मैं वो हरयाणा और उत्तर प्रदेश पे निर्भर से... बिजली तो २४ घंत्ते रहती होगी...लैंड एन्कोअच्मेंट सिस्टम तो बहुत अच्छा हैं money दो और माजी करो ....जो कुछ planned रहासी इलाके थे वे एब इल्लीगल बिज़नस चाले से... मैं राजधानी के पोश इलाके (South Extension) मैं रया सु जहा रहके मुझे लगा के ...वो रहने की जगह नहीं हैं ..कोई भी परिवार आला मानस न रह सकता उडे

पानी बढ़िया हैं ...ज्यादा ग्रीनरी हैं ... ट्रैफिक जाम के प्रॉब्लम नहीं हैं...सड़क तो अगले २० साल के लिए extendable .. organized hain से ..बस सर्विस भी अच्छी हैं atleast बस कंडिशन्स तो आची ही हैं ... हमारी बेहेने बिटिया सफ़र कर सकती हैं ..और पका उनको सीट भी मिल जाएगे ..sewege problem nahin hain

Bakee bhai I am talking about the life needs if you think delhi is better because of Malls, Flyover and metro then ofcourse Delhi is developed than many US beautiful cities (because they don't have metro and flyovers)

And I think this is fair analysis being spend 7 years in Delhi and just 1 year in Chandigarh.

On the top of that to hide there weekness and fool the public every two they through Master plan 2010...2020..2030 etc for debate nothing else.

I am sure if you just think "Capital city of India"... you will surely feel absense of lot of things...except politics

Bakee main thread to Gugaon ka thaa ... ek rajdhanee ke sath dusree ke ke jarurat se if we already have better option
