Honestly, Until few years ago I didn't know if such sort of days existed i.e. Father's , Mother's etc.
IMO, there are not many festivals/occasions in Christian religion so they have "made these up" . Now companies have started capitalizing on these by offering sales, specials and printing greeting cards etc.

The real irony is true friends become rarest of rare …since we have started celebrating these friendship days ….. Social sites and these designated days have become way to prove your friend ships ......BPO culture has really over casted our true selves ....these days are biggest gift of this fake modern society
 
होली धुलंडी और बैसाखी को ख़तम करने के लिए valentine चला दिया. रक्षा बंधन जैसे पवित्र त्यौहार को ख़तम करने के लिए यो फ्रेंडशिप डे चला दिया. धीरे धीरे सारे भारतीय त्योहारों के दो चार दिन आगे या पीछे एक कोए विदेशी DAY लाग ज्यागा . भारतीय culture भी ख़तम और बिज़नस भी खूब. आज के छोरे दुकान पै जा कै राखी कि जगहा फ्रेंडशिप बैंड मांगे सै.

आर या तागे वाली मैडम तै इसा लागे सै के जाटलैंड ने FACEBOOK बना कै मानेगी.

मुस्किल तै एक साफ़ सुथरी वेबसाइट मिली थी.

Nyways folks---friendship is over as per calendar 2012 ( however we can celebrate same ny day with our friends )

गामा मैं तो इब बी जो घर आले ल्या कै दे दें वाहे मंजूर हो सै . म्हारे तो जो हम ल्या दयां वाहे म्हारे हाथ पर बंधे सै. शहर की अलग बात सै.
