दूसरी बात .. यहाँ बायकाट का मतलब है की रिपब्लिक डे परेड को बायकाट करना .. जिस इंडिया गेट पे उनको प्रोटेस्ट करने से रोका गया वहां रिपब्लिक डे पे उन्हें ही आमंत्रित करेंगे .. सरकार के बाप का है क्या इंडिया गेट! और किस रिपब्लिक की बात कर रहे हो .. जहाँ आम आदमी को अपनी बात कहना का हक नहीं है उसकी? जहाँ प्रोटेस्ट करने पर लाठियाँ मिलती है और जेल मैं ड़ाल दिया जाता है उसका ?


और हम तुजे क्यूँ बताये की हम गणतंत्र दिवस को सेलिब्रेट कैसे करते हैं .. हमको बताने की कोई आवश्यकता नहीं है !!

Delhi Govt is not interested to construct a saheed smarak at India gate area. this is the respect and image of our saheeds , carried by Shila dixit and her party.

look at india gate , name of all saheeds of british indian army is writtenup on it up to its construction mainly WW-I and third Anglo afgan war.

indian govt could not do any thing in the memory of saheeds of partition war, china war, three pak wars. Now compare the thinking of british and independent govt of india on this point.

that proposed land is required to relax and enjoy their leisure.

PS- i know our desi will come with some gr8 logic to defend the CM thoughts.

We must pay our tribute and gratitude to the Brave Soldiers.

You are absolutely correct, the times have arrived to further move to consolidate our democratic institutions.

All of us know, the day being celebrated as Republic Day reminds us not only of the struggle and sacrifices made by our patriotic ancestors in their fight against the Colonial Rulers, but also exhorts us to resolve anew and come forward to uphold the Constitutional duties and rights of the citizens of the Union of India, which the founding fathers of the modern Institutions of Democracy gave us on this date on behalf of the "We, the People of India........"

Let us unite and contribute our humble mite to uphold the sanctity of our Constitution and established Constitutional Institutions to pave way for the rule of law.

The Indian Army has cancelled all New Year parties to express its solidarity with the 23-year-old Delhi gang-rape victim.
The Indian Army Headquarter has issued advisory to all the commands to cancel the New Year celebrations.
Army chief General Bikaram Singh and his wife Bubbles Singh will visit patients in Army Research and Referral Hospital here and Base Hospital on the New Year.
Meanwhile, several state governments, hotels, clubs and business houses have either cancelled or toned down the New Year's eve celebrations as a mark of respect to the gang-rape rape victim. Punjab and Haryana governments have cancelled their planned programmes to usher in the New Year.
Press Club of India, Delhi Gymkhana Club and several other clubs have also cancelled the New Year's eve celebrations. Several business houses in Chandigarh have also decided to cancel or tone down the events.
Following the death of the Delhi gang-rape victim, bookings in five-star hotels in Delhi and Mumbai are reportedly down by at least 15-20 per cent.
