When we talk about minorities why forget meo musalman.they fought against babar and other islamic inveders. they claim ram and krisna their anncester.
they follow the hindu marriage rituls and kinship patteren.like other muslim they do not allow cousin marriage.they have khap systeam like jat and marriage not
allowed within khap and same gotra.there are no burka systeam in females like other muslim.geeta and ramayan avilable in every meo home with kuran.
they face same problem with muslim law as jat face with hindu marriage act.

बरसों पहले (नेहरू के जमाने में) कांग्रेसी सरकार ने एक "Monorities Commission" बनाया था जो अब तक चला आ रहा है। वैसे किसी भी कमीशन का कार्यकाल तय होता है यानि एकाध साल बाद उसे खत्म हो जाना चाहिये। पर यह कमीशन खत्म नहीं होने वाला। अब तक का रिकार्ड रहा है कि इसका चेयरमैन या तो मुसलमान होता है या क्रिश्चियन । दूसरे मेंबर भी ज्यादातर वही होते हैं। वर्तमान लिस्ट इस पेज पर देखिये -

कमीशन के चेयरमैन का status कैबिनेट मिनिस्टर के बराबर होता है यानि उसे वे सभी सुविधायें मिलती हैं जो एक कैबिनेट मिनिस्टर को मिलती हैं। सरकारी पैसे पर ऐश हो रही है, विदेशों के दौरे भी हो जाते हैं । हर साल कुछ रिपोर्ट छाप दी जाती हैं, बस। न तो minorities का भला हो रहा है और न ही देश का।

बाकी, मुस्लिम तुष्टीकरण के लिए क्या कुछ नहीं हो रहा है, बाकी मेंबर लिख ही चुके हैं - हज के लिए सरकारी पैसा बरबाद हो रहा है, केरल में मस्जिद के काजियों को सरकारी तन्ख्वाह मिलती है । अगर हिन्दू अमरनाथ यात्रा पर जायें तो खर्चे के इलावा तरह-तरह के टैक्स देने पड़ते हैं, जान का खतरा अलग । यही हैं ''धर्मनिरपेक्ष'' सरकार के कारनामे !

I think its up to us how do we look at this. I know congress is no less in playing communal card. But lets keep it aside and think about the freedom and equality our country gives to the minorities:

"India is the only country where a member of the minority Parsi community with a population of 1,67,000, like myself, can aspire to attain the post of the Chief Justice of India," he said, adding, "These things do not happen in our neighbouring countries."

Well, Does it really matter? Its usual n' very common for any other Hindu, Sikh or Christians to visit each other's holy & worship places and celebrating each other's festivals EXCEPT Muslims. Once in a blue moon if such 'good' thing initiated by few 'good' people among muslims and it become a 'National' News. I appreciate it but shouldn't be it more common? How many muslims you see who visit Mandirs, Gurudwara or Church?

Problem is in their ideology and relegion? It's too rigid, closed, gives no option for REASONING and not at all evolving? Due to this extremism and stone-aged practices few good muslims have to suffer and feel low. There're muslims who discard such orthodox nature of Islam but they're afraid to protest in public cu'z they know some Maulvi among them issue 'Fatwa' in the name of blasphemy and some fanatic will chop their heads off in the name of Allah!

Mate, I've spent my childhood with muslim kids as there was a neighbour family who was muslim. I've many muslim friends from every walk of life back home in Jaipur from Motorcycle mechanic to office colleges, gym friends to other. I've spent quite sometime and shared meal, tea and even drinks with couple of ones. Few of them are religious, fasting whole of month in Ramzan, doing namaaj and all other practices.

I tell you about recent conversation with my couple of Muslim colleagues in last company. I asked one of them what you usually speak in Namaj and his reply was accept Islam then I ll tell you, I said F**k off! Asked other one about Sufism and Sia-Sunni conflict. He said we don't consider Sufis as true muslims and for Sia-Suni conflict he kept quite. And I observed they are not open to talk, they feel insecure and restless when we discuss about their religion issues. I remember way back in 2006 when it was 'Vande Matram' 100th anniversary a muslim colleague in that company refuse to sing Vande Matram with us as it is against "Islam" according to Muslims.

I bet Indians be it Hindu or others, they are among most tolerant and secular people in the world. They welcome all with open heart and hands but still Muslims complain now and then. Problem is they are too rigid and refuse to open their mind, you wanna see yourself .. just talk about few cons of Islam in front of your muslim friends and see their face expressions.

I didn't know a single Muslim untill my final year of engg when a couple of boys from Malerkotla joined my college. They spoke perfect Punjabi, hung out with Jat Sikh boys and had simar tastes and preferences like others. The only difference was during Ramazan when they would fast. Then I had Muslim classmates in b school, worked under one and had another as a colleague. I also know a Kashmiei Pandit who is friends with a Kashmiri Muslim. The latter brings him home made Kashmiri non veg dishes. One can find hundreds of such examples if one looks for them. We just have to keep our mind open.

hindu's moderate kab tak bane rahe , iss baat ke liye minorties ko khulla chode de kya danga karne ke liye , Azad maidan me 50000 logo me se sirf 23 arrest huye ,aur yaad kara mirchpur me 200 garoh se 103 log arrest kiye gaye hindu ho toh sarkar sakktah kadam udhati hai aur muslim ho so usse sevedansheeel keh kar kuch karne se bachte hai kyo kanoon unke liye nahi hai?
