STAFF ASSIGNMENT REQUIREMENT
Location : Bangalore
Staff Required : 25
Skills :
Description : 1) To ensure timely resolution of
all user requests.
2) To provide basic support on data networks/voice/video (Corporate
LAN/WAN and Internet)
3) To build new systems (servers/desktops/laptops) as per
specifications.
4) To coordinate with the vendor to get the replacements of spares
5) To do basic hardware/software troubleshooting.
6) To maintain asset inventory
7) To configure new users on the systems
8) To monitor the existing infrastructure services on 24x7 basis
9) Timely escalate issues depending on the urgency
10) Ensure that systems are updated with latest patches and virus
definitions
11) Support Windows 2K Prof/XP/Vista OS and Linux OS installations
12) Backup Tape Management (Loading/Un-loading)
13) To manage control bridge activities
Qualifications : Education
1) 3 years diploma with hardware training (Jet king, IIHT etc)
OR
2) BSc. graduate with hardware training (Jet king, IIHT etc)
Experience: Fresher OR 1-2 years of experience in the same area.
1) The candidate should be willing to work in shifts to provide 24x7
supports.
2) The candidate should have knowledge of MS Desktop operating system
such as Windows 2000 Professional/ Windows XP Operating
System/Linux/Vista
5) The candidate should be willing to travel at short notice.
6) Very good English communication skills (verbal/written)
7) Good trouble shooting/analytical skills
8) Willing to stretch at the times of need, should be service minded,
self disciplined, organized, good natured and supportive attitude.
9) Capability to prioritise calls/work depending on the nature of the
requests
10) Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies
Other Information : Candidates having Microsoft
certification such as MCDST (Microsoft certified Desktop Support
Technician) OR MCSE will be preferred
