i want to know what are the steps in the registration of an organization in india...and plz tell me the differance in the registration process of an organization and firm.

Internet

Dear Kulranjan,
I am not sure about the process followed in India, however I think some information or most of it must be available on internet. I suggest have some research on google and probably you might find a solution.
In US one can do it on line. In India, I feel information may be available on line as well if not the process itself.
Good luck to you for your endeavors.

dear Mr. Chaudhary,

company registration is zonal wise and you have to decide about the co. structure wheathe it will be properitor firm or partener ship firm or pvt. ltd or ltd firm.all the directors /partners should have PAN no .

To registered a firm you have to complete the formalities as under

1.. decide a company name .Name Should be unique if you want to get it registered or need to take a Trade Mark .that can be checked with the office of Company Law Board .
2 .. Open a current Bank account .you need to open one current account on the name of company you will require the address proof and the stamp with address and one stamp of properitor ship or partener or managing director.as per the purposed structure of your company.

3 get the VAT tin no or LSt and CST no. for this you need to do one sales(if you need to have cst no. also ,then sales must be inter state .take the payment in draft .keep the delivery challan of material send and proof of payment recd.

4. produce all the document to the sales tax department to get the tin no or what ever is applicable.

enjoy your business
