I know what I am starting here might surprise a few ... but we need to raise these questions now before its turns into a monster ....

There is a growing trend in the media and film industry to portray Homosexuality as quite normal ... this will lead to an acceptance of homosexualty in the society .. thus corrupting it and eroding societal & family values ...

It is quite shocking and disturbing that in some countries Homosexual Couples are allowed to adopt kids too ...

Now I do not think that homosexuals are evil or they should be hanged to death ...

But homosexuality is definately an evil ... it is a social & moral evil .. it is a SIN.

Doctors have just recently done a study established that homosexuality is a (genetic+hormnonic) disorder and can be treated ....

We need to counter this growing portrayal of homosexuality in the media and the opeartion of Gay Bars in our cities (Bombay, Delhi & Banglore being the main centres)

In Europe if you write something against homosexuality you can be persecuted ... and if we do not do something now, same will be the case in India soon

Dont know gay people to have an opinion. I have a gay friend but shes really sweet. How can I dislike her.

Need to know gay people in general to have an opinion on such sensitive issues.
 
My dear friend I have known many a gay people and worked very closely with them as well ... this is why I stated that i have nothing against homosexuals but condemn homosexuality .......

A person suffering from Polio or HIV is not at fault .. it is the sickness that is threatning ... same goes for homosexuals & homosexuality ...

homosexuality has just been proved to be a biological disorder and treatable .. so we should emphasise on its treatment rather then accepting it as normal behaviour .. because it certainly is not normal behaviour
 
I firmly believe that anything against nature is un natural. I agree that its a disorder requires medical treatment.
 
All those being so militant about homosexuality remind me of Pastor Ted Haggert. He used to be one of americas strongest christian voices against homosexuality. Then we found out that he was a gay himself. Not just that, he was soliciting gay prostitutes secretely. He gave up his leaderhsip post of Americas largest evangelical church.

The people who are effected the most by gay people are their parents and their loved ones. Its such an embarassing situation for these folks.

When you spew hatred against gay people, you are hurting a lot of people intentionally.

If you keep your opinions to yourself and be more understanding of such people, you can make it slightly easier for the families of gay people.

Besides, by being less militant about homosexuality, we can get these folks out in the open so that they can be treated and curb the transfer of other epidemics like AIDS and STDs.

No one is asking you to accept homosexuality. All I am saying is that be more understanding.

I used to be like you guys once upon a time. Back then I was seeing this girl who would always disagree with me on this issue. She said that there are 2 reasons why people show their hatred gays:

1. They are uncomfortable about their own sexuality.

2. They are trying to get acceptance in the society.

People like Ted Haggert prove her point.

We broke up a few years ago. But, every time I discuss this issue with people, I remember this girl who totally changed the way I think about this issue. Now, I just try the best to spread love around rather than spew hatred for people who have done nothing personally to hurt us.

I’ll say that if somebody is ill because of nature, we should respect him/her and should say thanks to god that we are not like them. If we’ll take it in term of software, Homosexuality is a bug in God’s system. It is not by wish, but by nature.

Ab rahi baat unnatural ki mr. Rathee and all the fellows who are agree with him. Jis jagha pe aap hain vanha ki 99% things un-natural hain….but u use them, enjoy them and can’t live with out them. To mount a building by cutting a mountain or a tree is natural? I doubt. And you are watching the effect of all these unnatural acts. And now, will you please explain me what is unnatural about homosexuality?

Now come on the treatment of this problem. Most of you say you hate homosexuality. Then how can somebody dare to announce that he or she feels otherwise and wants to go to hospital for the treatment of this problem? Because there are so many so called ‘budhijivi’ in this world, who will start hating them and will make it next to impossible for them to leave in this society. Agar kisi ki beti ghar se bhag ker love marriage ker leti hai tau ‘we – the society’ make it hell for him to leave in this world. Jise mauka milega kuch na kuch taunt marega- ye soche ya samjhe bager ki us bechare per kya beet rahi hai…. Why are we so unnatural? Why can’t we allow somebody to leave with peace in this world? If u wants to hate then hate to a rapist who is 100% unnatural though your sexual system might say it natural – very natural, because in this case the sexual partner is from opposite sex.

If you really want to help these people, then accept them. Make them understand that there problem can be rectified and can be treated. And in case if it will not be ok with the help of medical treatment, then we will accept them and will not throw them out of the society or will not start hating them. We want to stop them from making union or something like that. But had we ever thought why it’s really required to make a union of this kind? If we’ll get the answer of this question, I think we’ll not hate them and will help them to come in the main stream and to leave with peace and pride.

Ted Haggard was a disgrace not only for Christians but for every decent man ... what a bloody liar ... apparently after 3 montsh of therapy he has been declared completely hetrosexual .... :D :D

Actually homosexuals are so emboldened by soft ***** like you that they want more and more these days .. they want to adopt kids now and religious institutions who do not accept them are being threatned with closure by the government .. accusing them of discrimination

A lot of people say they are born homosexuals, so are people with mental retardation and physically challenged people .. but they seek a cure where possible ..... go get your problems fixed rather than poisioning the whole society

Some people are crystal clear in their convictions and beliefs and have a moral judgement of what is right & wrong .......

You know something yaar! the reason the Gay people are getting so emboldened is because they are being exploited by the liberal left of the world.

Gay people are just being used by these bastards just like they have exploited others to break the social fabrics around the world.

2. The Black people have always been exploited by these bloodsuckers for as far back as I can remember. Abraham Lincoln used their pretext to murder hundreds of thousands of revolting southerners. The story of the American civil war and the American civil rights movement that we are told in classrooms is total hogwash.

Martin Luther King Jr. was a regular at communist training schools and covertly received huge checks from the communists. His FBI files have been sealed for 50 years at the behest of his wife, who knew who really MLK was.

3. The socialists have exploited the dalits and the economically backwards in a similar fashion.

Homosexuals are no exception. They are bing exploited by the liberal left.

If you spew hatred for homosexuals you are just adding to the liberal-left's credibility. It legitimizes their claims that Gays are an exploited minority. Your stance adds fuel to the fire.

If you really care about the issue, stop adding fuel to the fire by being so militant against just any minority. If you do so, then you are playing right into the hands of the bloodthirsty liberal left.
 
First of all homosexuality is not a disease...enough research has been done abt it...not having problem with gays but having problem with homosexuality is another debate...we all are bigots by nature....i wont blame people who think being gay is a sin....but atlast we are talking abt it...is itself is an achievement...gehlot

Options you have put for poll are not strong enough to convince a person.Instead of making this thread a higly opinionstic, add some unbiased thoughts,otherwise its a waste to say anything here to speak on a critical issue.Hatreds,morals,immorals,amorals, are always been subjective compared to natural happenings.One may have a thousands reasons to love onething and vice versa.Anyway topic is worth enough minus personal hatereds.

Yaar Gehlot! your means of engaging in a discussion are unfortunately too unhealthy. I really do not know what you were thinking before making your comment. In one word your post is "abusive."

You cannot go on a ranting rage just because your thread got edited/deleted. Most of us have gone through it. The ground reality is that this is a privately owned forum. If you do not like the rules of the game, it gives you the option to find an alternative.

Statistics are misleading. It may be true that 3 % of all horses are white. But, it may not be the case that 3 % of all horses in India are white. It may be the case that 15 % of horses in India are white or maybe just .1 % of horses in India are white. When you mention statistics, always make sure that you mention the population in question.

Satyeshwar has been unusually nice to us for allowing us this forum. Kharub is an awesome boy whose enthusiasm is admired by most of us. You will not achieve anything by mudslinging at these individuals on this forum.

Think twice before you rant.

I was not abusive to anyone in any of my posts, just expressing my opinion. And this message coming from you who has a history of writing most extremist messages is really surprising. The statistics I wrote are actually true and you can look it up.
The moderators should understand that this is a sticky topic and some messages would be "out of wack". I meant no offense to vishavajeet or satyeshwar, it was just a humorous way of saying that if kharub's post which is so full of hatred can be allowed than what did I do wrong in my post.

I live in a country that passed a bill where the Gay marriages have been legalised. NZ has more than half a dozen gay members of parliament, a Minister who lives just 100 metres from house. Many people are of the opinion that even the Prime Minister Helen Clark is a lesbian. Although she is hetro in the sense that she is married to a male professor.

But in one sentence I would say "they are abnormal people and mostly look sick".

Gehlot Bhai the aim of my post was not to spew hatred .. which if it does .. or if you think it does .. does not matter to me .. as it was not the point ..

Homosexuality is a vey imminent danger to our society & moral values ... we have to be pro-active on such issues before we or our coming generations are mentally conditioned to accept such sins as acceptable ...

if a certain percentage of people are born gay .. then that does not mean its okay or acceptabel or even normal .. a certain percentage of people are also born with metal disability ... physical disability or some other disease, but this does not make all those things acceptable... they are still an abnormality .. just like homosexuality .....

I think society should take the burden of treating homosexual people ...... we should help them be healthy again rather than accepting the problem ...
