Responsible to whom?
To him self , his family, his job , his colleagues, his subordinates, superiors , his Country, his religion, Nation or even for that matter the World; with the earth warming up and dire consequences being predicted every day by every one.
It ia a complex question with no simple answer.
One may be responsible to one and irresponsible all others

Who follow words with action.
who is grounded. Who can distinguish the right from wrong.
Who know their duties towards family(mother, father, husband, wife, children) and friends, and work, and don't run away from them.( The extent or limit of duties should also be known, and not that your family and friends, take you for a ride or completely use or manipulate you, thats why it important first to know right from wrong, in a spiritual or broader sense).
