How many of you study or studied for knowledge????

@ Prikshit:In real & effective way there is value chain i.e Study-Gaining Knowledge(Effective which can be implemented in value added form not just degrees)-good earning.if any of part of this chain broken somewhere then result will be in vice-a-versa.baki bhai iska sahi messsage to 3 idiot me diya hai "Don't follow Success, go for Excellance' Suceess apne aap aa jayegi.

Baki kuch Insaan aise bhi hai like Owner of Microsoft,Late Steve Job jo School/college ke drop out but created a history in their respective fields.precisely to anwer your question Good learning/Earning both are crucial, want to add one thing in this "Loving what we do"( need not to be necessary in academic, can be in any field) is base to both of good earning/learning.

Its a good question and in my view study is a way to get knowledge, which is not only necessary for good earning but also necessary for general life as well as mental improvement.But in the present time privatization of education changed the thinking of the people and they think that education is important for good earning. So the matter of privatization of education is a very serious matter.
 
मेरा एक दोस्त है उसका बाबु बोल्या अक छोरे एम् बी ए में दाखिला ले ले ! छोरा बोल्या बाबु ठीक ठाक नौकरी चल रही है पंद्रह किले मानेसर में या लागते हैं ! दस पांच साल नौकरी करनी है फेर अपना धंधा कर ल्यूँगा जितना एम् बी ए में लाओगे इतना मन्ने दे दयो! उसका बाबू बोल्या थोड़े से रपिये लागेंगे उनते अब्बल तो तन्ने न्यू इ मिल जागा ! बाकी ६-७ लाख में और कीमे मिले न मिले दो साल पढ़े लिखे मानसा में रहगा तो कम तें कम अक्ल में फरक पड़ेगा ! और कीमे सीखे ना सीखे तेरे लिंक तो बढ़िया लोग गेल बन ज्यांगे ! पढाई की कोई उम्र नहीं पढाई में कोए शर्म नहीं ! जो बालक स्कूल में गया (चाहे दशमी भी ना पाटी हो) और जिसने स्कूल का मुँह नहीं देख्या उसमे फरक पावेगा ए पावेगा ! और घना नहीं तो कम तें कम वो गाम जान आली बस का बोर्ड ए पढ़ लेगा !पढने से ज्ञान बढेगा ही बढेगा हर आदमी न्यूटन नहीं बन सकता पर पांचसै साठ पन्ना की किताब में तें पन्चास तो समझ आवेंगे ए आवेंगे !

बाकी बात तेरी कामल स अक पढ़न ते कुछ न कुछ फरक ते पड़े है और पढने की कोई उम्र ना होती ........मेरी नानी ने 60 साल की उम्र में पढाई शुरु करी थी और आज 76 साल की अपने पोते और पडपोते के भी कान काट दे स हिसाब में ......

I see lot of people with degrees but very few apply what they learn in school/universities.

Unka mind phele se hi itna tej hota ...........unki sochne or samjne ki sakti aur se jayda hai

Asia kuch nhi ki padha likkhne se hi pasie kama sakta hai........ye gane phade likkhe nokari karte pawe sa anphad ke nicche.Gaam main gane isse anpad admi they phele jinko bhut gyaan tha. aaj kal ke murak bange is kitabi knowledage se

Khelo ..khudo to banoge nawab

khaali knowledge tai bhi kuchh naa hota......knowledge apply bhi karni aani chahiye. Dimaak tai sab dhore hai par uska istemal kitne jaann hai...

ek baat tai anil ne bhi theek kahi hai...sab paise aur aaraam ki zindagi jeen taayi hi padh hai.
 
Prikshit, a degree(which you hv got when u studied fr earning purpose) can get u a job wid a gud package. But fr how long can u survive in today's world wid little knowledge of your work. You would end up spending years on d same profile nd package u were been hired for/with and it always leads to frustration. Though in student life we dnt understand all this, but fr a good career, money and most importantly fr job satisfaction studying fr knowledge is important i blv...correct me if i m wrong..

Very true indeed....Wisdom comes with knowledge. A knowledgeable person can withstand any situation.
One need to be competent for survival.....
 
During my time we students use to study because we had to and the portion was not relevant at all to the practical or to the field that you are into, but now-a-days programs like Xseed have come out with such a school curriculum that the teacher teaches better, school reputation improves, the student learns better and in the end parents feel assured that the child is getting quality education.

Education means all round development of faculties of the students and this process enables one to cope with the challenges of life with alretness and widened horizons of wisdom acquired through real experiences of life. Thus sound mind in a sound body enables one to achieve his or her goals of life in easier manner.

Yes they are there. Their family experience in the line and hereditary wealth used by them to hire talent has contributed a lot in what you consider their 'innovator?'.

Kindly note, it is mandatory to study at least upto the age of 14 in India.

This is because of the need of the job or profession that they find little or no scope for application of accumulated knowledge. Freedom from earning bread and butter on the basis of degree can perhaps show better results.
