How to deal with Pakistan ?

It seems no one in the whole world knows how to deal with Pakistan. Pakistanis have been sending terrorists to all over world to assist local Muslim separatists. Case of India in dealing with Muslim invaders has been something like " fools build the house and intelligent live.". We the so called peace loving Indians build the nation and Muslims keep invading us to occupy us. Why should Pakistan or Afghanistan waste time and resources when they think that it would be easier to invade India and rule it. Why should a meat eater grow the grass when he knows that its easier to kill and eat the grass eating animal. They grow thinking that we are nothing but grass eating animals.They have been doing all through history and still carry the same dreams. I see no solution unless India goes offensive to the extreme. Issue needs to be debated at national level and has to be part of our national defense doctrine. We can spend 1000 years lecturing Pakistani Jihadis for peaceful co-existence, but nothing is going to change. Living on others money and loots has been the tradition of Muslim invaders and nothing less than force is going to change it. There is no way out, we have to get out of this so called nuclear blackmail of Pakistan. We need to take immediate steps like;

1. Stop all trade and travel between two countries. Having trade relations with Pakistan helps only their army as most of the trade is run through army controlled firms.

2. We should actively support insurgency in Baluchistan and Sindh. Independent Baluchistan and Sindh are in India's interest as that will help us to have direct trade route with Afghanistan and other central asian countries.

2. Nuclear attack if we have another terrorist attack from Pakistan.

3. Control the Indo-Nepalse border also. Treat Nepal like any other country without being too emotional.

Sir- Our response needs to be strong but not insane. Needless to say, when you diagnose the problem as you have, the solution was on expected lines. What do you think about the muslims in our own country (which incidentally outnumber those in Pakistan)? Should we nuke them as well? I am no apologist for Islamic terrorism. It needs to be dealt with firmly, but intelligently. In fact, I do agree with some of the points like economic sanctions and working towards breaking Pakistan (but not with the overall spirit of the post). Knee-jerk reaction like declaring war would be playing into the hands of jehadi-army lobby in Pakistan, who are desperate to move resources and attention from an unpopular war on Afghanistan border to a more popular one against India. And talks of nuclear war are completely irresponsible- when death of 200 people causes so much heart burn, can you imagine the casualties and consequences of a nuclear conflict?

There are several sensible solutions that have been suggested at some excellent forums. India must build the capacity of doing clandestine operations within Pakistan. Make the different factions within Pakistan fight against each other. Send troops to Afghanistan (thus engaging Pakistan where it least wants to get engaged and leveraging on the West's war on terror). Finally, there is no substitute for strengthening your own internal security apparatus. The fact that 10 people could enter the country through boats should be an eye-opener. What we need is modernization of the police/border forces on a war footing, single command and control for internal security apparatus and streamlining of intelligency agencies so that they don't work on cross purposes. Rhetoric about war is glamourous, but achieves nothing.

India should have accepted Israelis offer to bomb Pakistani nuclear sites long time ago. It is only because pakistanis have nukes, India is hesitating.
How could 10 mad men cause so much mayhem? There has to be many more people behind this. Government is not telling the full story. Why has Government not presented full evidence to Interpol? to the World? It has been almost a month and all you hear is statements in the media. Completely incompetent.
 
Pakistan is like a monkey with a razor in her hand.....like a suicide bomber with one hand on the pin of a grenade...ready to explode.Sick and rogue state.So many things are needed to be done at one given time to handle such a complex situation....with war being the last resort but full preparedness in place.

Well Aman, I agree to what u say in this regard so it suggests we are not living on North and South pole:D:D .

As they say "One is left with the horrible feeling now that war settles nothing; that to win a war is as disastrous as to lose one", and a nuclear one is as disastrous as anything imaginable.

What India require according to me is some smart counter intelligence and infiltrating Pakistan's Jihad bases and weaken them in knee by winning back POK which boasts most of the terrorist facilities. Breaking all the bilateral ties, and mounting International pressure. So an outright war is not the plausible solution but some shrewd strategy and above all IMPLEMENTATION of the same.
 
Q. Who carried the attacks
Assumptions - 1. Pakis ISI/military/terrorists together - paki government responsible
2. Pakistani terror groups(non state actors) acting independent of paki isi/military - paki government responsible by ommission
3. Rogue elements in ISI and Paki terror groups - Paki goverment unable to control even though it tries
Conclusions:
Assumptions 1, 2 - Paki goverment can stop them if they want to
Assumtion 3 - paki government unable to control them
Paki strategies upto now
1. Tell US that pakis will divert troops on paki-afghan border to India. Thinking India pays attention to what US has to say. But India is independent of US even though it has good relations with it.
2. Remove evidence, Deny and lie - Remove all evidence, Deny access to Journalists and others trying to reach Kasab's parents, lie kasab is pakistani perhaps deleting his identity from their national database.
3. Be Defiant and stand up to Indian war threats to placate pakistanis
4. Lock and close - Lock terrorists offices, close terror camps, temporarily till things die down. Publicize you are taking actions against terrorists to gather International support, that you are not a rogue nation.
Possible Indian strategies(Pressure on Congress as elections near)
Stage 1 strategies
1.International pressure through Media statements, Kasab's letter, phone transcripts and other evidences.
2. Good cop -Manmohan Singh, bad cop - Mukerjee, threats of war.
3. stoppage of all bilateral contacts
Next Stage
1. Air Strikes on terror camps
Limitations - capability - Bombers?, empty camps - terrorists gone underground
Result - Kill some terrorists, generate support among pakis for their government.
2. Blockade Karachi port
Limitations - US supplies to Afghanistan coming from Karachi so US will object
Benefit - Also Paki supplies coming from Karach and paki economy in a downward spiral - paki loan from IMF.
3. Indian emphasis on Paki military and ISI mainly supporting the terror groups - bomb paki military/Isi installations, headquarters
Paki retailiation in case of Indian airforce attack -
Paki airforce vs Indian airforce - Balance of airpower tilt towards India.
Other factors? scenarios?
US reaction in case of Indian military response?
Anyone?

If Chief of Indian army is int...he can give us 2-4 bumbs... which we can throw from space on pakistaan.... :D

On a serious note... why dont we seek help from Mr Jaglan ... Im sure he'll be more than willing to do it for Jats if not India. Kung Fu kar dega saaare Pakistaaniya ke...

Yes Sumit... Issi bahaney thoddi social service bhi ho jaayegi... I am sure this will be win win situation.. Gollla Barooodd bhi kharaab nahi hoga... er Pakistaan ka ilaaz bhi pakka ho jaaga... thanks for the idea bro !
 
- Cut off all the ties with Pak asap. And evenif any Pakistani govt. asks for ties, don't respond to their requests. Keep quiet & mind our own business. Pakistan mein aisa kya hai jo apne desh mein nahin hai
- Launch pre-emptive attacks in suspected terrorists training centers in PoK area. If there is a retaliation, reply with full force. Pakistan is a monkey jo sirf Bhabki de raha hai. Ek baar attack ho gya, backfoot par aa jayegaa.
