I joined this forum in April 2003 and the credit goes to our one of the most respected and elderly Member Shri Ishwar Lamba ji! He introduced this magnificent forum not only to me through a mutual family friend Suresh Khatkar ji but also about a dozen friends in New Zealand and Australia! Since then i am almost regular and enjoy every minute I spend here!

The only regret I have is the absence of all those lovely Jats and Jatnis who are not active any more! I always miss and would like to mention a few who were stars of the forum! I sometimes imagine, How would a particular thread would shape if the people like Dr.Rajender Kumar Kalkhunde Ji, Col. Dev dahiya( Kaka), Col. Jagmohan, Col. Tavathia ji, Major Kulwant, Satender Tokas, Shailender Hooda ji(Super Sahil) Raj Rathi, Vinod Sangwan, Priya Shaukeen, Brahm Tavethia, Dr. Mrs. Chhikara Shanshanwal, Satender Goyat, Dr. Neelam Rathee, Sumit Dahiya and many more. There were hundreds of worthy members whom I can't remember at random but would like to request the active members to bring them back. We should try and bring back as many as we can!

Older members can imagine the level of participation and level contribution on a particular thread on Polity/ economy thread with participants like Sumit Dahia, Anmol Rattan, Vinod Sangwan, Dr. RK Kalkhande, Kapil Dalal, Jaspreet Swaich, Vikash Gulia, Atishmohan etc.

What would be level of a thread where all the Col Dahiya, Col Tavathiya, Dr. Kalkhande, Col Jagmohan, Vinod Sangwan, Shail Hooda and Raj Rathee, Braham Tavathia on a social issue! Humor and time pass: Col Dev Dahia, Ravinderjeet, Keshav dahia, Shal Hooda Sunita Hooda and our Anil Sangwan; In Anils Style, Khadya lath baje!

Yah sub soch kar hi man mein gudgudi si hoti hai! Those old days! Some times I feel that the prime of jatlad has passed and social forum like Facebook etc. have contributed to this setback!

Cheers!

Friends,

It is proper introspection on behalf of the members of the Jatland members by Deswalji, seconded by Burdakji and liked by several members that we must try to take advantage of our seniors' experience and expertise.

Therefore, it is time to make a joint effort and appeal to bring back the veterans to mainstream discussion forums so that the foregone days of classic writings and discussions could be re-enlivened.

I join you all in appealing all the veterans to start guiding and directing various theme discussions by their valued contributions.

Thanks and regards.

Sir I have just started my work.So no major or minor findings..

Neelam Dalal,

It is matter of pleasure to know that you have taken up challenging topic on the contribution of Jat community in historical context and connect it with changes of modern times. Hope that it would be a good contribution to the History of India.

Best wishes.

Dost,

Is parkar kee appeal ka mera pahala maqsad yehi tha kee hamein aapne purane dhurandhar community members kee inactivity khal rahi hai.

Pheer mein chahata huein kee vartaman samay mein jo active members hein woh sabhi apane aas paas ke anya purane doston se waqif jaroor honge, woh unse vyaktigat samprak karke unhen punah yogdaan ke lieye prarthana karen!

aaj ke active members yadi Deswalji, Burdak ji, Kapil Dalal tatha aur sabhi members kee bhavanao ko Jatland ke diggajah sadsayon tak kisi n kisi prakar pahucha sakane me jaroor kamyab honge, aisa mera visawas hai !

Mein bhee apni taraf se harsambhav prayas karunga. Is bare mein anya sujhavon ka suswagat!

Dhanyavad.

I am connected with many of the older members through Facebook and going to request them to come back. Also I would request older member like Samar Kadian, Bharti ji, Anil Sangwan ji, DND ji and others to make possible efforts in this direction! Burdak ji and DND ji special request to you both to make possible efforts. Most of them wouldn't turn down your request!

cheers!

Dear All,

Greetings!

I was in Mumbai then and wanted to know more about JATS; history, culture and heritage. It was 2003 and I googled. It is then that I came to know about this ‘On line world of JATS’. I was in a manufacturing industry then and didn’t have much work! Therefore, Jatland became a daily doze of opium! Had some great times here and locked horns in debate without ever hitting below the belt (so prevalent and in vogue today – pun intended!). Made some good friends and met many; in Mumbai and Delhi, and I am in touch with few even now, may be not on a regular basis.

Personally speaking I have never thought of Jatland as a harbringer of major change in our society, a catalyst though for sure. This is also a dynamic thing. People will come and people will go and we should accept that. As long as one does not take the discussions personally and rather seriously, it is fun. One comes to know the aspirations and enthusiasm of youngsters and irritation and dejection of the elders. You have to be intelligent enough to retain your mental balance while understanding either! I have learnt an important lesson here and that is that maturity is not the sole domain of the elders, we have many young people who have very clear thought process and they are absolutely clear as to what they want.

I believe that most successful people in the world are those who remain in touch with their roots and make progress based on their knowledge and hardwork. God has given us these attributes and we should continue to progress.

I am very much in touch with the happenings here and am a regular visitor. I am not very much active when it comes to posts because we have discussed all the topics threadbare in the past.

However, I am convinced that; Sunpat jaisi mithaai (Ghevar ar Pedaay), Gohaney jaisi Jalebi (actually Jaleba) or Baghpat jaisa Kalakand kahin nahi hai!!!

RAM RAM to elders and Hi to youngters! God Speed!
