Anju ji, the concerned Minister has aleady given a statement in Parliament. He informed the house that she was not having any substantial information which might jeopardize our vital security interests. I think Minister's statement can be taken on face value.
Ritu ji, we can not arrive at any judgment unless the air is cleared by the concerned authorities after a thorough probe. There can be no smoke without a fire. I agree with you, sometimes media goes overboard in highlighting things to sell themselves.

Ritu ji .. Having nice brother and cultured mom doesn't guarantee that person is innocent. She is guilty as per current scenario. It may be interesting to see govt stance on it.
No surprise, in the absence of sufficient evidence, she might go scot free. More so, with lawyers like Jethmalani available on demand in such cases. Even though, the suspect is 'reportedly' not enjoying a good reputation, the fact should not be glossed over that sometimes there are deep conspiracy theories also working backstage in the murky world of espionage and bureaucratic wranglings. Some times bureaucrats can go to any extent to implicate each other. So let us wait for some more time before passing any judgement. The lady is, however, known to be very fond of wining, dining and socializing. Inspite of having come from a good family, as claimed by Ritu ji, it cannot be assumed that she is a holy cow.

however the most infamous case was that of RAW officer rabinder singh who joined hands with american agencies (RAW is the agency for gathering intelligence from outside india )belonging to jalandhar punjab he was an armyman who joined raw and many beleive he defected to united states
few more cases hit headlines over the past few years ,navy officer sukhjinder singh (fishy dealings in procurement of ship from russia)
