hi i am naveen bazad ...... this is the thread i have posted as i have found many jat parents want their child to reach great levels but if u dont know the exact path then hard work can fail in this exam .....

this post is for normal hard working students though there are intelligent and excetional students also. This is not for them.
naveen bazad
btech mtech micro electronics IIT BOMBAY
IIT JEE RANK 552
1998
presently in Gurgaon

I was very hard working stood 1st in my section always and always among top three in my class (from class 4th to class 9th) in Motilal Nehru School of Sports Rai and played 2 nationals uptil class 9.Then somebody said to me if u want to prepare for IIT then u have to leave sports school and u cannot waste time in class 11 and 12 in settling down from boarding to home. So I left school after class 9th .

Now my journey started .. I used to board bus from rohtak to delhi and come often to iit gate for getting the information when correspondance course is starting and when tests will be ... so I used to study 8 9 hours daily and studied all brilliant tutorials , agrawal, apex and brilliant and even after that i failed in IIT exam though i get through kurukshetra and roorkee.then i thought i can have the same performance next year also so i dropped one year.

My parents are like any other jat parents jo bolthe the ki tere bas ki baat nahi hein but as i have gathered information so i took coaching from FIITJEE of one year . By luck i stood 1st in admission test and after that i had no looking back and i was confident before the IIT exam that i am getting through and when u have slight doubt before the exam that after exam u will tell that u will be getting through or not then take the guarantee from me that u will not get through ....

my requirements of a child :must be hard working and can avoid every thing for 2 yrs and have done the schooling in cities and not from villages (villages i have mentioned because those who study in villages lag far behind and there is huge difference though exception are always )

parents have to shell out Rs 50000 for two year coaching in delhi and plus expenses in delhi .... though u can take coaching in ur own town but according to me they r not good they are for business only but if u can then these are my ranking of institutes
1.VIDYAMANDIR CLASSES Punjabi Bagh
2. Career Point KOTA
3. Narayana, South Delhi
4. FIITJEE delhi

these coaching make the student realize what is course and what books are sufficient

my recommendation of books

HC Verma Physics
Tata McGraw Hill IIT Mathematics and solutions also
Chemistry FIITJEE material
Solomons Organic Chemistry ( see syllabus of IIT exam and do only topics that are required)
JD LEE Inorganic chemistry

dont do more books then these its my recommendatiion and do the books that are provided by ur coaching class and never miss any test irrespective of what ur preparations are .... and do these books 4 5 times and dont keep buying every new book in market ... if a hard working student do these books i find no reason he or she not in IIT

join Test Series of FIITJEE also.....

So parents please paise jodte raho as only hard work cannot alone make ur child suceed ... money also play a part...never discourage ur child but do take care what he or she is doing ......i think in this way i will be finding more jats in IIT at present they are lacking and in my opinion its not because children are less talented but i think parents are less knowledgeable... though they are very nice hearted .... do drop me a mail here only for any more information ......

Sorry for any mistake if any

And wow what a hard work u av done in ur life
Good u r guiding others by sharing ur knowledge.

Great inspirational story that must be told to our upcoming rural students. Why dont u plan ur visit to villages through JJ and also attend 20 th and 25th event of www.janjagriti.com and motivate youths.

great mr. Naveen

You'll find many jat's in IIT's......s/w,desing,sports,acting n modelling,defence.....excelling in every field

We jat are no less than any baniaas

i have one suggestion to all ... keep in mind whatever u do do it whole heartedly paisa to apne aap hi aa jaayega .... dont immitate anyone .... every body is saying that u should have software knowledge for getting job in US ... take my words unless u have interest in it u cannot innovate and when u cannot innovate u will never progress...SORRY SATENDER .... fact remains fact banias are better progressed then us ... its not i and ur progress matters .... when jats will go ahead then them then neither i have to say nor u but banias will say that..: ))))))))))))))..

what i said.........was that..we are no less than any baniyaa's......

means those jat students who get into professional field.......they excell.

Dear Naveen,
good thing is done that you did IIT Betch. Great things still have to be done by spreading awareness in rural JAT bhaiyon me. Most of the JATs live in villages and childeren of farmer are not reaching IIT B.E. in enough number. We should encourage them.
When i was in my 12th i did not know IIT. but i did M.Tech from IIT Delhi in material science and Ph.D in microelectronics from netherlands, right now working in Philips semiconductor. Please let me know, if i can do something for any organisation or any JAT that help JAT bhai to come out from rural area.

Greets,
Vikas

Try to give the best

hi guys
As naveen has told a realistic and inspiring story.
I personally think that guidance is also very important along with
money and hard work. I agreed with u that exceptions always exist.
I am pretty new member dont know much about jj but i have got news that
they are doing well in education direction.
Like that we have also made a group which includes IIT'ns, IIM people
and wish to take a strong step in that direction. We have planned to open a school close to charkhi dadri ,start with 1 and then counter will increase after that. We will get help from jj and give them help when required.
