FINISHED FILES ARE THE RESULT OF YEARS OF SCIENTIFIC STUDY
COMBINED WITH THE EXPERIENCE OF YEARS.

Now read through the above sentence counting aloud the "F"s as you
find them (1...2...etc). Count them ONLY ONCE: Do not go back and
count them again!!!.

There are six F's in the sentence. One of average intelligence finds
three of them. If you spotted four, you're above average. If you got
five, you can turn your nose at most anybody. If you caught six,
you are a genius. There is no catch. Many people forget the "OF"'s.
The human brain tends to see them as V's and not F's. Pretty weird, huh?

similiar exercise i did earlier, and i found again myself fail: three F here. Usually what we miss is that we do not give importance to small things, i am refering to the three more 'F' of the word 'OF' in above statement. Is it true?

well, i got 6 but i feel anybody would get it if you took 1 min before begining and went slow and steady.
But yes, I agree that you miss the 'OF' because the pronunciation is 'OV'

I got 3, If you are more fluent in reading english, more likely you would miss 3 f's in of's, reasoning calvin style ;-) , a kid who just know alphabets and counting would surely count 6.

I am happy to note that I still have average 'intelligence', a commendable performance after 21 years in the 'FAUJ' !!!

At least there is scope of 'Improvement'.

that was agood fun to find F'S.was good to sharpen our memory and things like that gives u a chance to think differently at some of the things going in ur life at that moment. no wonder u might be able to get both quiz ans. and ans. to ur big problem.
