intercaste marriages in jat families

since last couple of years i have read many articles in newspapers that a jat gal or a jat boy was murdered coz he/she was having an intercaste affair or had an intercaste marriage.
i believe most of the jat families are against inter caste marriages...
well may i know what u people think about these intercaste love affairs and marriages.
