Intercaste Marriages.

i wonder why people start an imp & serious discussion and end up blaming people of other castes,calling them names

We cannot shut our mind down with the thought of not implementing that particular idea on oursleves.

This logic is absurd. It is not a commitment which needs be fulfilled. :)


People are free to opine , it is not something like proclaiming " I will do this for my society " and then not doing it! :)
Though this has also been practised in JL , let me know if you need examples.


Please do not try to curb people's opinion , communication and/or discussions call upon participants to let the others express themselves clearly as well!

Wat is love?? Can you distinguish between love and interaction between two opposite sex?

Nishant , of course I have not followed each single post , but I wish to counter ask you this question.

Let S be the set of all eligible girls ( Let's say I define eligibility criterion for myself as : 1) Aged between 22-25 2) Graduate 3) height between 5'2 and 5'5!

Now let's say U be the set of the girls fulfilling the eligibility criterion and also Jats and also not from Gotra ( Dalal , Deshwal , Sihnwal , Maan , Gudaniya , Punia , Jatrana , Dahiya , Ahlawat ) ( All these gotras have to be left because they are left in my native village ).

Tell me :: n(S intersection U )/ n (S) , in words percentage of girls with whom my parents want me to marry as a percentage of all feasible girls !

No kidding! This is very restricted choice ! Is not it ?

Wait , Did i read that clearly ?

Ofcourse Love is a superset of interaction between two opposite sex ( If you are considering the love between a male and female only ).

Love is much beyond , much more :)

Well to my understanding, when arguement is for the sake of arguement, it does not express true toughts or intent. Secondly, any thought which comes to our mind, we are the first judge to evaluate it. If somebody is not comfortable with his own thought and idea, there is no point placing it before others for discussion. And as far as moral policing is concerend, gone were the days...........its a free society with right to everybody to express, but the only thing is true and fair expression, not something which practically we ourself can't follow. And when I asked about the examples, I was referring to people participating here.

Problem is saying something, which does not even convince the speaker.

Really !

And this is no kidding ! Really serious thing...... Maximum proportion of Jat boys/girls do some diploma or some chalta firta course and think themselves to be a born leader. :cool:

aur agar ache ho bilkul to unko aishwarya rai chahiye from rich family & that too saari baate bhi maane unki aisi ho ....... maximum ppl think this way ...

Many a spoil brats are found in Jat guys these days ..... drinking here & being found in a 'naali' next day is their brand equity :eek:
..... and in case they are okay, their parents are the baba aadam zamaane ke parents who will want to control every action of their bahu ! :o

We are pretty much comfortable/convinced/ready to implement it be it be the case with any of our relative/friend/well wisher

Rupender , If you can give this a couple of minutes of your cool self , Please ponder over whether just simply not doing a idea means one is not convinced about it!

I am not in a position to catch Osama Bin Laden or for that matter all those terrorists who place bombs and kill innocent people , but that does not mean I am not convinced about their wrong doings ! :)

Can you catch the analogy!

And to tell you a true incident , i remember my cousin brother who lives in villages , telling me all these and a total of 10 gotras to be left and I telling out loud ki : tum to mera byaah hone hi naa do :D

Well , i got the list down to just 3 ;) of the gotras to be left and for sure I myself is open to an inter caste as well , if i come across someone worth!! :)


On a more philosophical note , all these intercastes would get the amount of "consciousness" down which is prevalent among people! And we can afford to hear less rhetoric against other castes in future :) So it is not so bad a thing !

True Anil, but this is helplessness which is there (OSAMA and all), but that does not stop us from being concerned. But what about something which can do but really don't do it. My only concern is that alot of us really don't mean what we say here in this thread. You know when the time will come they'll be the first one to say Intercaste NO NO........those who are advocating it right now(Its my personal experience).

Chalo my last and final post in this thread Mai apne parents ke khushi k liye kisse se bhi shadi kaar sakta hun for me the major thing is the Happiness of my parents at any cost. And i still beleive that there are still preety good girls to marry and live happily with them there after. :)
