interesting subject psychology is. wat i suggest to my depressed frends, psychiatrist takes out 800 bucks for d same to say 'go out, take leave from office, switch off ur cell and just enjoy few days out'. lol

Thanx for the nice intro & appreciation ! But one thing Neelam ji, I guess sme ppl cant resist paging, dont know why!:) So, hope these lines get life & whenever u pick the pen, u write an exotic history & many others will write gazals etc for u & on u !!

A nice thread, something I guess every newbie looks for. It was nice reading about so many of you. So going with the tradition & adding to the thread ...

My name's Ashish. Originally from Rohtak, Haryana but born & brought up in Delhi. Used to visit the native in summer vaca's in school days & it's been very long since the last visit back home. I so miss the khet's, nahars, the mitti ki khusboo, even gobar ki :) & will soon make a trip back home. Just waiting for the right time!

I did my schooling (& university) in Delhi & have been working for the past 6 yrs. I specialize in Enterprise IT Management - Business Service Optimization and my last job was as a Business Operations Manager.

Currently I'm in Pune & on a sabbatical in my career. Thinking of continuing with IT for the big money or join the forces. Also caught up between getting back to studies... Haven't made up my mind yet.

What else?

Passions: Football, Photography, Travelling etc
Sports: Football, Basketball, Swimming, Volleyball, Beach Volleyball, Shooting, Adventure sports, Pool
Books: Management, Health & Fitness, Sports Medicine, Combat Systems
Music: It all depends on the mood. Rock, Rock n Roll, Reggae, Raagni, Gaamaan ke keet - esp those sung in Sawan around Teez or on weddings, Hip Hop, Old hindi numbers - especially Kishore & Rafi.
Tv shows: English Premier League, Spanish League, Italian, Dutch, South American & Indian Football... If its on, its Football!
Movies: I'm a total buff when it comes to movies. I particularly like Romantic comedies, Sex comedies, Drama, Parallel cinema etc. Watch both English & Hindi. Sometimes even foreign films with subtitles ofcourse :-D
Cuisines: Indian, Mexican, Italian ... Very particular about it & it all depends on the mood.
A must are Doodh, Dahi, Seet, Rabri, Bajre ki khichdi & I love sweets (not all but a select few & that too from very particular places only) ... ummmm yummm I'm hungry already!
