i am opening an Export company in delhi to export fresh Green Vegatables to Europe and other countries. i am a new kid in this area, so any one will be helpful for me in this mission? i want help to my Jat Brothers on this issue. Please Guide me.

Hi Sanjay,

Please proceed as follows;

1. Register a firm and obtain export Import code for this firm.
2. Find out to which countries you would like to export and what particular vegetables are in demand in that country. You might have to visit that country to have first hand knowledge about the quality of the product one would be expected to deliver.
3. You might have to get in touch with the importers of vegetables in that country.

4. Food products need to follow some strict guidelines and you must know all those requirements.

5. Vegetables have limited life and will have to be delivered in time bound manner. You will have to work out the most competitive and fastest modes of transport. May be as a first step you tie up your supplies through some Indian firm, which is already in this business. This way you will learn the tricks of this trade.
