I feel it's nothing new racism is everywhere even in our country I personally meet couple of them from Tamil Nadu they don't treat north people and hate if speak Hindi. Same is everwhere in the world specially the countries like UK may be they think they ruled us for long. Even Italian have some "Roman Empire" kind of feeling. I think in developed world US have least although some question mark is there (Katrina Hurricane)

Bakee racism is for cheap people as they don;t think beyond the limit by there central govt. (Brain)
 
Isn't it a similar case which happened in Mumbai few months back against Biharis ( whom Mumbaiwala's call as north Indians)........ These incidents are sad.. These do not happen beacuse of some past history of conflicts.. These happen because of a wrong leader heading a bunch of silly people who do not know what they are doing and why..

Its difficult to find out a reason in these cases of hatred against humans vs humans.....

Things have been exaggrated. courtesy: the pathetic indian media. They projected the situation like none less than a war. This made parents really worried about their child. I read on indiatimes.com that indian students have been lathi charged. What a load of BS.:mad: In my 5 years of stay in Australia I have never ever seen anyone getting thrashed by lathis. The indian media really made a mountain of mole.
The protest in melbourne was marred by a group of drunk hooligans who were coming out after a Football match. They threw beer cans/bottles on the crowd, damaged public property. A bit of force was used by the police to bring the situation under control.
There are a few dirty fishes in the pond but by and large I find people welcoming.

it is only going to affect us....this is really sad that we have lost lives of our brothers and sisters in australia...but this aint going to bring back their life....and it can even severaly damage our tourism industry.....because after such type of incidents i dont think aussies will prefer India...and it is notable because a huge number of australians comes India every year.....this incident somehow is going to break their trust that India is a safer place....

You are mistaken buddy. It is Australia who is going to be on the recieving end. Australia makes A$12 billion every year from the foreign students. If students from India choose to go some other country rather than Australia then its certainly going to affect their economy in a big way. That's the reason even their PM has apologised not only PM but the leader of opposition too.

Maybe I'm posting this on the wrong thread so please excuse.

I'm not condoing Racsim or giving any justifications for it per Sacchi baat toh yeh hai ki mera desh mahaan hota , toh hamay bahar marany ki kya jurrort thi.

Nakli Ghee, Dhoodh , Medicines apni hi Kaum ko bechnay wali kaum hai hum.

Kaum jo apni hi logon ki hatya karti hai, sirf satta main aanay kay liye.

Hamay toh sharam bhi nahin aati doosron per ungliyan uthahey huey.

I laugh when Indian Media calls our society a civil society because to be civil one needs to be civilized, but thats a different debate I'm sure.
