Yup, i know that ... i had talked to her ..... she told me that she want to devote her time in her job.... and want to stay away from Jatland ... and she requested to a MOD to ban her otherwise she may get distracted again by Jatland.... and hence she was banned ...

Is that unjustified ?

bhai ek call karke mujhe bhi bann karwa do plzzzz ... mein bhi bahut distract ho raha hoon...plz thodi jack lagao yaar:p
 
Was Seema banned for using "hulkat" word?? Can someone confirm this??
If such had been the case, it is one real shame. I have been reading threads where people are literally swearing at one another. Wonder why moderators close their eyes when it comes to to those threads. Or it is that they didn't happen to read that. I don't think so. One particular thread is running here since months and is full of Fs and the Ws and the Ss.

I am in no way advocating further bans. Just that something seems to be wrong here. Are moderators biased?? No one would know unless they unfold their self-formed but 'uninvited' mysteries.

Another question: Can moderators get banned??

Bhai, mein kon hota hoon jack lagaane wala .... i am just a member like you ..... what i know about Reena is just becoz she is my friend ...... and about Soka Norman ..... he talked vulger in chaupal today ...... so i just know that.

Ban is just a mail away from you ..... if you want to get banned just mail to mods .... they will do this favour for you :)
 
No body should be banned.......i think some relaxation shud be given on daily basis like.....
* you can accuse 2 peoples a day without any reason watsoever:p
* you can use atmost 5 fordidden words or slangs:D a day
* you can drag atmost 1 thread offtopic daily:rolleyes:
* you shud be granted permission to threaten the moderators weekly



these are few from lot many wishes........... at least those againt censorship will support...:confused:

yupp i had a talk with seema and the main reason was this word Hulkut for her ban...
tanashahi aur woh bhi jaateon ki land mein ... hahaha

Gud suggestions Sandeep Bhai, i strongly second your thoughts.
I would like to dictate Mods and admins that these suggestions must be implemented as soon as possible.

Gee :-D, quite a lot of activity happened while I was away…

While I'm not quite sure about the exact reason for the ban & giving the moderators a benefit of doubt, I hope they had good enough reasons. But the question is what were they?

Whatever lil I've known Seema for she does come across as a girl with a pretty sad taste in humor.:rolleyes: It's possible that the same isn't appreciated by many (moderators topping the list). But maybe hers is a young mind that craves for a lot of attention and maybe controversies are her way! I found Seema's method of rebellion & targeting a particular moderator and then generalizing the concept to all women very stupid & childish. Maybe she took things a little too far, trying to have the last laugh but look who is laughing at this point of time.

Going by some of the postings that she was banned for using the word "Hul-kut" & if its really true, I call this ban extremely immature & the moderators taking things a little too far. I say this cuz she used the word for me but I never complained about it. So did anyone else complain? Or, its the classic case of a game of football where even the referee wants to score a goal? :rolleyes:

Forums by nature are zones of high tolerance & that's what keeps them going. Unless & until things are taken way too far by any member in particular, all admins & moderators should take the back seat & play the 'I for Ignore'. Maybe it's the not the way at Jatland. I can’t say for sure for I've been here for just a week now but I already have bad taste in mouth. If immaturity like this continues, there is a good possibility that slowly most of the members will walk away.

A believer of exercising "Corrective measures over punitive unless absolutely necessary otherwise", I am in total agreement with my shrink friend Neels ;) that there are better ways of dealing with situations of similar or worse nature.

A personal warning or two, maybe counseling the subject regarding appropriate forum etiquettes & a public warning should precede a ban. This would not only give the individual involved sufficient time to mend his/her ways but even educate everyone else of potential bans.

In my personal opinion & that of the general consensus it is time that the moderators came out in open & shared their reasons for banning Seema & others, unless of course someone is just trying to play rank!:mad:

Yes, this information is still there with the present time being displayed there. I guess there might be any technical problem !
