Dear jatlanders,

In the evening wen i switched over to news channels....i saw that the idols of gods are consuming milk as reflected in news,which once happened around 11 yrs back..and so many people blindly going to the temples to serve milk to the idols of god....and more over two days back their was news of ocean water in Mahim (mumbai) is getting sweeter n again with this there were lots of people gathered on the Mahim beach to taste the water, which was actually not good for their health.

How much you all Believe in this?????????? IS THIS A MIRACLE...OR JUST SCIENTIFIC......WHAT DO YOU THINK???????:confused: :confused:
 
It also happened in 1995, when Lord Ganesh's was said to be drinking milk. That died down soon when it was prood to be a scientiic action.

This time it looks like that it has been initiated by some vested interests, may be some "Pakhandi Pujaris" or some agent of some political outfits to counter the Mahim Sweet water episode. That is why hours after sweet water story at Mahim, there wa news of sweet water at Balsaad, Gujrat.

I was watching on Star News a while ago, a BJP minister of Madhyapardesh Govt. was supporting the the Milk story. In fact the minister was shown feeding milk to the statue of some deity. The Minister advocated that there was no scientific reason behind that rather 'Religion goes beyond any scientific discovery.In fact power of religion starts where science ends, the minister said.

To me it is merely an ideotic rumour and the 'bhed chaal' action so common in India

Its SURFACE TENSION

The law of surface tension (Physics) works behind this.
If we take some liquid in spoon full (not necessary milk), then that too will give same results...
the only condition is that ..the spoon should be full initially and the object, which we want to drink the liquid, should be wet.
the liquid in the spoon possess less surface area (liquid remains over the spoon area, i.e.more liquid will be there than the capacity of spoon, and this is because of surface tension of that particular liquid) and as soon as it is touched with something it starts flowing with the given direction and along the available surface.
For us at appears as if Bhagwan is drinking from the spoon.
Try this with a spoon of water and ur finger or stick(wet)
....it is evident that milk remains there on the floor and does not disappear. so, it only flows from spoon along with MURTI's surface....n nothing else

Correct. Unfortunately 99% Indians have no clue about laws of Physics, pujaris included. Government looks other way in every such case. High time we have a Ministry of Undhvishwas eradication. Anyone indulging in such activities should be punished.

It's a shame that general public in India still pay heed to these rumours where as on other hand we say India will be developed by 2020. Govt. should act to punish people spreading these rumours.

Kadian Ji..... as Namrata(Dolly) has explained that it had happened 11 years back also...........why this news spread after 11 years again... in the mean time
why the Murtis not taking the liquid? what abt the surface tension in that time.......why it happens only with Ganesha?..... :confused:

U r exactly rt sir....people should understand the basic concept behind all these things before having blind faith in it.
And more over,these people are wasting so much of milk unneccasary with out any logic,which instead can be given to so many children suffering frm.. MALNUTRITION.

WELL ,MR PRASHANT NEWS CHANNELS PROVIDE YOU WITH LOTS OF THINGS HAPPENING AROUND YOU....!!!!SO ITS ALWAZ GOOD TO BE IN TOUCH WITH THEM.

AS FAR AS SERVING MILK TO THE IDOLS OF GOD AS WAT PEOPLE ARE DOING ..I DONT BELIEVE IN THIS PHENOMENA.....ITS ALL WASTE OF MILK....RATHER I WOULD GIVE IT TO SOME NEEDY N UNDER PREVILAGED CHILDREN......WHO ACTUALLY NEED THIS IN TRUE SENSE.....

prashant bhai, it always happens..
the only thing is that nobody tried this in temples or may have ignored in the mean time.
If u can remember, The rumur started as Ganesh ji is drinking milk..and nobody ever claimed that ganesh ji has stopped drinking milk at some date!
Actually, this time some PAKHANDI has started it to counter muslim 'sweet water' miracle. Moreover, the person who started this knows that this will always work
 
waise agar kisi tarike se samundar ka paani mitha kar diya jaye to kamal ho sakta hein kai problem solve hongi is pe try to hui hongi par samundar ka size dekh ke sab rook gaye honge lekin ees ghatna se kunch inspiration le ke try ki ja sakti hein

baki wo sab bakwas hein bhagwan ne doodh peena ho te chammach ki jarorat nahi
 
a question of faith!!!

I BELIEVE : when it comes to the unexplained,many are ready to except such events as "acts of god"

Science clarifies,enlightens and provides rationale.but faith goes beyond science and reason.
These cases are definately caused by simple scientific phenomena such as porosity of clay.But most of the people do not have a scientific attitude.

Belief in god does not mean that one should not have a scientific attitude,but not every one agrees though.
But then the first step in developing one is never believe in first sight,unless all evidence points in that direction.

One day am sure Science will definately be able to expalin the unexplained..
