True to some extent but difference is the target audience. JL is limited to jats only while other social platforms are open to rest of the world. I find JL more authentic and connected to Jats when it comes to availability of information related to jat community.
It's people's choice to prefer social media over JL to express their views on bigger platforms. May be some attention seeker or politically driven people find themselves more comfortable in spreading their ideology through social media which is not possible at JL.

JL will need to open in order to exist. JL was nowhere in competition with social media. On top of that previous moderators on this website exercised excessive moderation which resulted in members leaving this website. JL Forums is very different to twitter and facebook where people share photos, videos and posts whereas JL don't have any of such features. Probably if we can invite some JL celebrities then we may expect some crowd. To me website is already dead with negligible participation from 8 crore strong Jat community. Also website needs to be revamped, that is shifting from forum to a more like a social platform where it is easy to share photos, videos and posts. Perhaps along with Jatland forums, website need an addition of a more interactive UI where it is easier to share stuff with other people. Question is, even if you have an interactive UI, why would someone come to this website when they have other alternates and that too when this website is restricted to only Jat Hindus with excessive moderation. I see no compelling reason for someone to join this website other than it's Wiki which is well maintained by some members.
