Brother never count a caste/religions as backward or forward. There are some people in every caste who need more attention. Reservation is only for them.
Jat's consider as farmer, but some jats have no significant land.

In the eyes of Law, Jats are one of the castes listed in other backward castes in the Government of India records.
There exists no list of 'forward' castes. But those castes which have not been included in reservation category could be taken as castes in this category of so called forward castes.

My personal view--the water which entered the ship can sink the ship, so jats should come to BJP become MLAs and protect the provision of reservation for jats, or defeat it totally in Haryana to convey the message clearly

Yes all these features impress the caste hierarchy and influence upward or downward mobilisation of castes in Indian society.
But you cannot be-fool others by shouting from the house tops that we are forward in spite of enjoying 'OBC' category reservation tag at National level.
The 'labelling of Jats as other backward caste' is constitutionally valid and there is no escape root but to accept the truth.
So accept it smilingly and enjoy the benefits of reservation policy to maximum possible level.

This is for sharing information with the members of the community that the reservation granted to five communities including the Jats therein has been challenged in the Punjab and Haryana High Court.
According to news reports, the petitioner who has challenged the reservation for the Jats by Government of Haryana a few months ago and has submitted today the material in support of his plea to cancel the same.
The next date for hearing would be in the end of October.
